Hi Andras,
Ok thank you for the assistance, the information in that link looks like it will be useful in this.

Thanks for getting back to me.
Ah, I didn’t realise that the quantity had to be updated manually when you move people around between events. I’m new to the team here so I’m not 100% sure whether people were moved around for this particular ticket, but I know they are moved very frequently so it’s probably safe to assume that’s what’s happened here.
No problem, I’ll make sure our team make the manual update part of the process when moving people in the future. Out of interest, is this ever likely to become an automatic process in future versions of the plugin?
With the second issue, the saved set of fields are set to be mandatory, but looking at this event it looks like whoever set it up didn’t make them part of the ticket which explains why no-one has provided them (the 1 person who did provide this information was probably moved from another ticket where these fields were added).
Thanks very much for your help. If we encounter any issues involving quantity in the future then I’ll come back on this ticket as requested.
Cheers,
Chris

Carole LangmanParticipantHi Nico,
Many thanks for following up. We have updated the plugin and will keep an eye on the events register count.

Carole LangmanParticipantHi Shelby,
Just checking to see if this particular bug had been addressed in recent updates?
Many thanks,
Carole
Carole LangmanParticipantHi Shelby,
Just wanted to let you know our office manager got back to me this afternoon and advised that the recent example of the Events Register Count being off actually did have proper permalinks.
Many thanks,
Carole
Carole LangmanParticipantThanks for letting us know Shelby. Do you have a link to any threads about that bug?
Carole LangmanParticipantHi Shelby,
I wanted to let you know something I discovered today while putting through a test order on our staging site. Our office staff have been cloning events for some time without changing the permalinks and publishing date. I noticed it a couple of weeks ago and advised our staff to ensure they were corrected.
But today I noticed this:
Tuesday Morning Jump Skills on 15 August 2017
live site URL: https://www.devondogs.co.uk/event/tuesday-morning-jump-skills-grids-2-2-2-2/
Should be: https://www.devondogs.co.uk/event/tuesday-morning-jump-skills-grids-15-Aug-2017
I wish I’d thought of this before, but it occurred to me that the permalinks may have some bearing on the Events Register count being off. I’m not positive, but wanted to let you know, especially as you are unable to replicate the issue. Could this be the cause of the counts being off in our Events Register?
I am going to go through our Events Calendar personally and make sure they are all corrected. I hope this “fixes” the issue. But only time will tell. However, if the counts issue persists, I will report it again.
I apologise for wasting your time in reporting an issue that may have been caused by something we were doing incorrectly. 🙂
Many thanks,
Carole
Carole LangmanParticipantHi Shelby,
You asked me for the link in your message dated 10 July.
Can you point me to the thread where my team member is helping you with the PHP errors?
Has this ever happened before (or since)? Many thanks
Carole
July 11, 2017 at 11:11 am in reply to: Automated Emails not being generated for Events since Woo Commerce update 3.1 #1319695Carole LangmanParticipantThanks for your help Geoff. We reported it to Woo but no fix to date. But at least we are receiving Emails, so that issue is resolved.
It seems there is some kind of issue with Events Register and counts being off. I reported it in another thread here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/issues-with-registers-attendee-count/#post-1319692
Shelby is handling it and asked for the link to this thread, which I’ve given her.
Carole LangmanParticipantHi Shelby,
1. Here’s the link to the other thread: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/automated-emails-not-being-generated-for-events-since-woo-commerce-update-3-1/
“Has this ever happened before or since?”
In the PDF our office manager compiled, she complains of this happening for approx the past 7 months.
As mentioned in the first message of this thread, it has been going on for some time, but our staff found it difficult to obtain clear examples to document and report to you, because of manual bookings, cancellations etc.
Many thanks,
Carole
Carole LangmanParticipantHi there, not sure why, but I haven’t been receiving email notifications of updates to this ticket. So apologies for not replying sooner.
I have seen two other users complaining about this.
1. https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/hide-number-of-tickets-remaining/#post-1317590
2. https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/hide-number-of-tickets-available-3/#post-1312032
Carole LangmanParticipantHi Shelby,
Sorry about that. 🙂
I pasted the log into a text file, which you should be able to view:

FYI: Woo Commerce suggested deactivating all the Events plugins to see if the errors remained. So I tried it and the errors remained on the CheckOut page.
