ParticipantI see now that there are other Gists to help with this:
See https://gist.github.com/cliffordp/b0e5ece86040d9838f09 to customize text of iCal Event Export button text
See https://gist.github.com/cliffordp/0add8931e1c6422a7b4c to override the iCal link to always be this linkHowever the latter tells me that it technically works but /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/resources/js/tribe-events.min.js?ver=4.0.5 overwrites it!
So my question stands 🙂

ParticipantHi there
I’ll let this one go I think – just something strange happens when I do the child/theme version of the php file. Maybe it’s code-God punishing me for not using a child theme of Divi?
Anyhow, for now, I will just change the plugin’s wording each time its updated.
Thanks for your patience anyhow

ParticipantUpdate has sorted it, thanks
Ajay Gilbert
ParticipantThanks Geoff I will do – but just about to go on holiday for a week, so maybe you could hold back from closing this thread?
Thanks for your help so far.
best wishes

ParticipantNope, that debug option was not selected…
:-/
Ajay Gilbert
ParticipantI don’t knowingly have WP Debug turned on – looking at that page you linked to, I went to the wp-config.php file and saw this line: define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false);
which implies I don’t have it switched on, true?
Where else should I check?
many thanks

ParticipantHi there
well, looking at my iphone, that month view definitely shows up, except the days of the week are mashed together illegibly….
thanks
AJAjay Gilbert
ParticipantThanks Geoff
it now says Booking which is great
however, there are these lines of objection underneath:

Any ideas?
thanks

ParticipantI have exactly the same issue as @danfeeley – it’s not just the squished day names, it’s the total lack of functionality – no date can be pressed, no event info is forthcoming 🙁
You don’t have to view it on a mobile – just reduce the browser width, and try clicking on dates…

Fingers crossed for a timely fix!

ParticipantThanks Geoff – that was helpful, tantalizingly close to being extremely helpful!
So it looks like a case of adding the if conditional below the featured image and above the event description…
something like <?php if (‘tribe_events_has_tickets’) err…not sure… ?>
Thanks

ParticipantThanks – sorted

ParticipantActually it seems to work OK in ‘week view’ but not the others…strange but true…

ParticipantHi Nico
My apologies! Having searched out the previous thread about it, I read it more closely – I was mistakenly trying to add products in woocommerce rather than within EC – so I believe I have resolved this one.
Many thanks
AJAjay Gilbert
ParticipantThanks George (or whoever it might be today!)
That sounds positive. Could I therefore get a refund on the woocommerce add-on we bought in September? It’s not been used on a live site (just a test site so far)…
Many thanks, and good luck with the new release – no slacking now! Crack on!

September 30, 2015 at 1:44 am in reply to: Variable pricing using Woocommerce Ticket plugin #1009925Ajay Gilbert
ParticipantThanks for the somewhat encouraging reply!
2 things:
1 – having to use 3 separate products instead of variations means we can’t limit the number of total bookings so easily (as we can’t predict which type of ticket will sell more than others) 🙁
The video you linked to (at 1:47) shows a ticketed event being created but I saw no clues as to how to add additional tickets at different prices there – or do you just click on ‘add new ticket’ again?2 – how do these differing prices show up in the events calendar? One calendar I tried only showed the most expensive price, which is no use. The demo calendar you show only seems to have free events…
thanks
