ParticipantHello, Shelby!
I was wondering if you have come up with a solution? My site crashed this morning while trying to view the events calendar.
Thank you!

ParticipantThank you, Adam. I only have 2,000 events at this time so I don’t think it would help. Everything was working fine until early July. I can’t even pinpoint the exact day/time that it stopped working for me as I was away camping for the weekend. This is really frustrating as I no longer have access to cPanel since switching web hosting companies so it is difficult for me to make certain changes or get the information that I need. I ended up re-activating PRO the other day, even though it was taking longer than usual to load. However, this morning it has reached the point of requiring several minutes to load and I can’t even log into my dashboard to fix it. ugh.
Shelby, I’ll try to get the information that you requested.

ParticipantHello, Shelby!
I added that code, then re-activated Events Calendar PRO. It seemed to work all right (although a little slower than usual performance when not activated) and then within a period of time, the site just slowed down immensely, taking about 1-2 minutes just to load a page. So I de-activated the PRO plugin again. 🙁

ParticipantHello, Shelby!
I’ve selected the option to share the system information and also enabled debugging.

ParticipantHello, Shelby!
I have activated the Events Calendar alone (without the Pro) and it works!?! However, I really need the ability to create recurring events and have a calendar widget. Does this provide more information? The conflict arises when I activate the Pro version as well, and access an event from the calendar in the widget area.
Thank you!

ParticipantI have tested for conflicts, it works for a very short time and then, without even accessing the Event Calendar, my website slows down and won’t even load. This is really frustrating!
After using it for several years, looks like I will have to deactivate it for good and search for another option. I renewed my licence just last week; I’m wondering if I can get a refund on the money I spent.

ParticipantGood morning, Shelby!
It has nothing to do with the number of events that I have in the Events Calendar. It is something sudden that began happening just over a week ago. It just hits the database hard and slows the site down. It never did that up until that point. I even deleted a significant number of events – did nothing. I hold a licence for it and I can no longer even use it.
