ParticipantHi Jen,
It looks like we may have a bug as I’m seeing it on my end too in WP 3.5. I’m creating a high priority ticket for one of our devs to take a look ASAP. If you need the recurrence functionality now and can revert to WP 3.4.2 I would suggest doing that until we come up with a fix. Stay tuned.
Thanks,
JonahJonah
ParticipantHey Marcin,
What’s the actual FB Like plugin you’re working with? Can you provide a link? I’ll try and take a look and see what I can find but no guarantees on making this compatible with our plugin.

ParticipantNo problem Elizabeth, glad you figured it out. Let us know if you need anything else.

ParticipantHi Marcin,
The like button has nothing to do with our plugin. You will need to contact the like button developer or hire a developer to help you with this. Good luck!

January 10, 2013 at 8:29 am in reply to: Can I add snippet of event description to the widget #30577Jonah
ParticipantHi Jon,
Yes, you can do this. The widget’s are all fully editable PHP code and we can guide you a bit on how to do this. If you want to get a head start I would suggest checking out our Themer’s guide: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/

ParticipantHi Greg,
No we don’t have a list of approved compatible themes yet but are working on something like this. I would suggest trying to change the Event Template option in Events > Settings > Template. That may solve the problem. Let me know.
Cheers,

ParticipantThanks Cintia, yeah there’s not much else we can do without having you be our guinea pig on this one. Like I said, it’s working fine for me and nobody else is reporting this issue so it’s likely something plugin/theme conflict related.
Let us know if there’s anything else we can do.
Thanks,
JonahJanuary 10, 2013 at 7:37 am in reply to: Separate Date and Time into 2 lines for Single Day Events for single.php #30570Jonah
ParticipantHi Elizabeth,
Sure there is. First, make a copy of /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/views/single.php and place in an ‘events’ folder in your active theme. Then find lines 22-23 and replace with something like this: http://snippi.com/s/6wje59r – this will only affect the start date/time, you’ll need to figure out what you want to do with the end date/time. If you want to change the date/time format just checkout the PHP documentation on date format: http://php.net/manual/en/function.date.php
I hope that helps!

ParticipantGotcha, well if you look at line 422 in /wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/events-calendar-pro.php you’ll find the function used to create the feed. Maybe that will help.

ParticipantHey Will,
I guess I don’t fully understand. So, the category .ics file is giving you what you need but you’re still trying to get it working right for other pages (Venues?)…

ParticipantHi W,
Sorry for the very late reply on this. Apparently your thread was marked as spam and we just noticed this now. We are working to improve this process.
To answer your question, you are welcome to bundle the core plugin (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/the-events-calendar/) but if you’d like to bundle the PRO plugin we’ll need to go through a bit more hoop jumping to see if that’s something we want to do. Let me know what you’re thinking, whether the core implementation will be enough or whether you’re looking to go PRO with it.
Thanks,
JonahJonah
ParticipantHi Michael,
We don’t have a built in facility for this but you can certainly use a 3rd party plugin to help you with this: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/duplicate-post/
I hope that helps!
