    That’s because I had to turn off validation so the form would be useful. If I turn on start and end date and time requirement, it’s impossible to submit the form. But if I leave them non-required, that will drive our staff crazy because they’ll get submissions without dates and times.

    In a related issue, we only want to accept submissions for events in June, and we would like to lock the calendar widget that pops up on the form down to June only.

    If you want I can set up my testing server to reproduce the problem so you can see for yourself. Also I can probably give you admin access on the testing server.

    As I described, the instructions in this article don’t work using the latest builds of the core, Pro and Community Events plugins.

    In our case, the month view should only ever display June 2017. I was easily able to hide the forward and back links using CSS, but I find it difficult to get the default calendar view to load to June rather than May.
