Update: I’ve since manually enqueued my custom events stylesheet and have manually deleted all the Events Calendar stylesheets to get the site back to looking normal, but obviously this is not a satisfactory solution. I did try renaming my custom stylesheet “tribe-events.css” and it was loaded, but unfortunately so still was the default Event Calendar stylesheet that continued to interfere with my custom styles (even if I selected Skeleton style in settings).

If the tribe_events_stylesheet_url filter has changed and no longer completely disables the default stylesheet when then can you please provide a new code snippet that would enable me to get back the old functionality — ie using *only* a custom stylesheet and not any of the Events Calendar sheets. Thanks.

Thanks for the update. Do you have any alternative suggestions for how to export events from the live site to a dev site (or vice versa)? Is this something the Event Aggregator would be able to handle more reliably?

I currently use a custom page template, not the default event template. The problem is not getting the event titles for a list view, it’s including a page title for the “events archive” list view — so above the list of events is a title for that page and only for that page — it shouldn’t show up for single events, venue, organizer etc. pages.

Since all those different events-related pages use the same template, however, hardcoding a page title is not an option, so I guess I need some function that determines if it’s the archive page and, if it is, to return a specific page title and if it’s not then return the normal single event/venue etc title.

I can’t offer any insight, but I have exactly the same thing happening when I exports events from the live site to the dev site (I posted about it here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/no-venue-or-organizer-fields-when-exporting-events/). In each event there are two instances for both organizer and venue. Both are blank for each imported event, but when I try to delete one of the duplicates and populate the other with an existing venue/organizer the change cannot be saved — I update/save the event, exit that event, then when I return to that event the same two blank fields for organizer/venue are there.

In my case I think it’s related to that fact that exports do not contain either the venue or organizer fields for events, which I’m still investigating. So you might also want to check the export xml/csv files and see if those fields are missing.

Just to clarify, did you export *all* data, including all events and other site data (posts, pages etc.) in your test?

I currently only have it on a local server…. will get you details in the next few days when I have it on the web server. Actually, that makes me wonder if the local server is the issue here. Will investigate further.

Thanks Victor. I finally got the title where I needed it.
