Ajax loader keeps spinning

I feel like I might have broken something with my templating because on the default calendar view the ajax loader spinner is always present. It does not go away. Any idea how to fix it without permanently hiding it?

This only happens on the default events calendar view (set to list), not on the widgets or on the list views used on other pages via shortcode. Possibly related – I cannot determine which WordPress template the default view uses. Whatever custom page template I set in the settings the default calendar view page will always inject WordPress archive-related body classes, thus overriding a lot of my page template styles.

I currently only have it on a local server…. will get you details in the next few days when I have it on the web server. Actually, that makes me wonder if the local server is the issue here. Will investigate further.
