Perfect! That’s working now. Had to add !important to the CSS as it wouldn’t override without it but all good now. Thanks for your help!

    Hi Victor

Thanks for your reply. I had hoped that setting the default number of tickets to 1 would reveal the email/name fields by default also, but now I have to select 2 at least to reveal the fields. My fault for not being more specific about the purpose of my request! Is there anything else I can do do make this happen? My client’s customer’s are often confused when they don’t see the name fields on load ……

    Thanks!

    Hi!

I have done the following and the issue still persists:

    1) Switched on 2016 theme
    2) Disabled all plugins other than the Events Calendar ones authored by Modern Tribe
    3) Cleared my browser cache
    4) Renamed my override folder to tribe-events-bak
    5) Cleared browser cache again

    Can you help?

Thanks. Looks like my theme (Enfold) overrides the plugin’s options. Have found the theme’s files for editing as much as I can. Thanks!

    Hi Barry

Your demo site actually has the same configuration that my client is complaining about. Without a drop-down arrow, it is not immediately obvious to someone unfamiliar with the site that there is an option to change the view. The user has to click on the view type in order to see a drop-down with other options. We would prefer a style where it is clear that there is a selection of views available. The standard drop-down list style would achieve that.

Actually, have just implemented my last point, ie. added a custom text area field called “Admission” and will leave Cost field blank on all events to auto-hide it. Works perfectly fine.
