Subject: Re: [The Events Calendar] Schedule Eventbrite imports not reliable
[Help Desk-Ref: 1634105-68404-6f6fd2b4b1]
To: [email protected]This is still causing me issues. For some reason, events showing on my
eventbrite page are not syncing to calendar correctly. The only way I can
get the events to properly upload is by importing them individually (see
screenshots for events from Nov 4,5,6). For some reason, there are some
events that are being missed by the scheduled imports and I can’t tell why.
They show up as live and selling tickets on the eventbrite page. Do you
know how I can solve this problem? Now I am having the additional issue of not being able to log in to the
support portal so I can’t submit a new ticket! Ahhhh! Can you please help me?

October 2, 2018 at 6:37 pm in reply to: Eventbrite Tickets vs. Aggregator for Eventbrite events #1635922info19broadway.comParticipantI think I figured out the problem with certain events not showing up. I’m pretty sure the events in question were recurring events but I can’t say for certain since I am not the one entering these events into Eventbrite. The ticket sales were scheduled to end before the event started so there were no tickets available even though it shows the event as live on the Eventbrite page. When I updated the date/time for ticket sales end and re-ran the import, the event eventually updated. I was further thrown off because there appears to be somewhat of a lag between when changes are made in Eventbrite and when they import correctly. Maybe this lag is due to the month view cache option?
Sounds like I’ll continue using Aggregator for the time being…
Thanks for your help. Let me know if my problem was indeed related to the bug your referring to. Otherwise, I suppose you can close this ticket.

September 30, 2018 at 1:14 pm in reply to: Eventbrite Tickets vs. Aggregator for Eventbrite events #1634095info19broadway.comParticipantAnother thing I notice with is that sometimes imports will create duplicate events from Eventbrite.
Is there something I can do to avoid this?
