ParticipantJust found this: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/calendar-widget-overflows-the-sidebar/
Used this and adjusted the padding of the sidebar and the problem is solved.
Thanks

ParticipantBrook,
thank you for your quick response! Unfortunately your suggestions didn’t solve the behavior/display of the widget.
If you have other suggestions, please let me know.

ParticipantBrook,
it’s on an iPad v4, the screen dump:

ParticipantDarryl,
no bug i think, but by design 🙂 I just installed a new WordPress with The Events Calendar on http://events.ify-server.net/ to test (calendar link is in the upper right corner).
First i only added an event in September and i had the possibility to go to September, when i was in September, i couldn’t go anywhere (there where no other events planned). Than i added an event in August and i’m able to navigate to September and back to August.
The same is for your website, if you go back to for example April you can go forward again.
So, unless you have planned an event in the future, this is no bug. Why search in the future if there is nothing planned, so no need to have the ability to move forward.
Hope this helps.
Best regards, Jos

ParticipantDarryl,
with my site it appeared the issue was caused by a serverside caching combined with browser cache (despite i browsed in private mode). After clearing the cache on the server AND from my browser (Chrome) all worked ok.
Hope this works for you.

ParticipantBrian,
i do have a backup, no worries 🙂
“I have just created a ticket in our system to look into changing that so there is a location you could put the language files that is safe from updates.”
That would be great, i’m developing 5 websites at this moment with which i will have this issue, so if i need to upload the files each time after an update, that won’t make me happy.
I tried WPML but that causes issues with the Woocommerce Ticket plugin.
Thanks!
Jos

ParticipantBarry,
i was searching in tribe-events-calendar-pro-nl_NL.po instead of the tribe-events-calendar-nl_NL.po. I also notice now that we have a folder the-events-calender and a folder events-calender-pro. Maybe you can synchronize the naming in a future release (like the-events-calender and the-events-calender-pro).
Thanks!

ParticipantBrian, Gustavo,
to reproduce the error i mentioned i just updated another (almost identical) development site like i did on http://mghs-spaarnwoude.ify-server.net (see my previous post).
This one is on http://hondenscholen.net/cursus/basiscursus-start-23-maart/ here things are working like it should (without the +/- signs). Here i’m not getting an empty cart like on the other website.
I don’t know why, i need to check on the differences on both sites, but i’m not in the office today.
I will keep you informed (on sunday i will do some checking up on this matter).
Thanks!

ParticipantOk, this plugin does the trick but how comes that without this plugin, and entering the number of tickets manually, an empty cart appears?
“In WooCommerce 2.3, the quantity increment buttons have been depreciated, as most browsers now support <input type=”number” />.”
I tested it on Safari / Fireworks and Chrome (all with newest versions) and it didn’t work without this plugin.
Does the ticket-plugin still needs an update of some kind (the less plugins i need to re-enable redundant features the better).

ParticipantHi,
i am experiencing the same problem (even after the update i just installed of the plugin). Missing the + and – and if i manually enter a number, the cart is empty.
Example: http://mghs-spaarnwoude.ify-server.net/cursus/vervolg-1-start-20-februari-2015/
Hope you can solve this.

ParticipantHi, i’m experiencing the same problem. My work-around at this moment is the following:
i create my new events with the tickets (which are saved, but do not show at that moment), i safe/publish the event, disable the WPML plugins and re-enable them and voila…. the tickets are there… very strange, but it works.
I hope this can be solved.
Best regards, Jos
