Thank you for your reply.
I’ve read the knowledgebase article provided and don’t see anything related to importing recurring events. EVERY item on my calendar repeats annually. I would love to export -> correct -> import, but won’t make sense unless I can mark my events as “RECURRING YEARLY”
Thank you.
ideasandboxParticipantIf I export all my current events to CSV, will I be able to fix the errors in CSV and then re-import all my data back into the plugin with recurring dates?
I’ve got 100s of events I’ve already entered the first time… and a majority of them that I manually adjusted again that caused this problem… I don’t have the patience to have to manually set recurring option for all of them again.
Finally, is my request being looked at from a bug perspective? I need to fix the mess that has been made of my calendar but also want this to be prevented for someone else. Unless I’ve done something wrong, please let me know.
Thank you.
ideasandboxParticipantThank you for the note and tool.
Although, ultimately I need to have these be recurring. But annually on their day, not daily!
Will this tool allow me to have Ground Hog day, which shows up everyday from March 2, 2015 thru 2019? To only appear when it should, or does this set it to a single event?
Is there a way to download my entire list and update the spreadsheet and replace or something?
I’ve got 100s of dates through the year.
Thank you!

ideasandboxParticipantI’m working with someone to help me with the code… Depending on the solution I’ll link it back here… – Paul
ideasandboxParticipantWhile I have you… I’d like to show the text entry for the event below the title as well, please 🙂
ideasandboxParticipantGeoff,
1) You’re awesome.
2) Thank you!
3) Yay! This solved it.I was afraid to update on the live site in case the upgrade is what broke something. That was NOT the case.
The *only* other thing I’ll add here for future reference is to MOVE EVENTS TO TRASH, but then DELETE TRASH before you try to re-import… Or else it says “xxx already exists!”
Yay! My calendar is all better! Thank you!
By the way…

Today is National Lasagna Day and Chicken Wing Day… Tomorrow is National Cheesecake Day and Father-in-Law Day!
ideasandboxParticipantOkay… I got some homework to do. (Not literally, I’m not in school… I mean I have homework to make this work as I’d like). Thank you.
ideasandboxParticipantCool. Sounds like the capability exists, it is a matter of building it… great! I’ll revisit the Themer’s Guide in more detail.
Thank you for your quick reply Barry!
I will post this idea on UserVoice – thank you.
How about this… Instead of me having a month-long event appear on every day… Could I have them listed above the calendar? (say, above the days of the week, for example… or, in the sidebar)
Is there already a function for that? -
