Mate got it sorted thanks! I thought I had to create my own theme not create the folder within the theme I was using hence the reason for the broken theme. Told you I was a novice at this. Thanks for your help and sorry if I have wasted your time.

Sorry about that. We are experiencing no change at all. I use filezilla as the FTP client. This is where I created the folder (themes/BRAD/tribe-events/widgets/mini-calendar-widget.php). Inside WordPress under the themes tab the theme is visible so it has uploaded. It is displaying however as a broken theme at the bottom of the themes page in WordPress. I’m not sure how relevant this is but just want to give you all the info I can.

Sorry Barry I am a novice with all this. Yeah it does relate to the site URL provided however I am working with a need theme to update the site. I switch back and forward between the sites Inorder to work on the new one.

No the url doesn’t relate to the same site. Thats a url I copied from another thread that you put up. It’s the code to remove the grid from the calendar widget.

Hi Barry,
The thread you mentioned above contains the info needed to remove the grid from the calendar widget. I followed this however had no success in removing it. Could you please advice as to next steps. Perhaps I could give you back end access?
