ParticipantOK, that seems to have fixed it! Thanks!

ParticipantOK, thank you! I’ll look into that.

ParticipantI see I could do that as 3 separate re-occurring events, but I don’t see that I (or someone using the Community Events add-on) could do it in one submission, which is okay I guess, but just more work and probably not intuitive to random people submitting an event.
I don’t need actual tickets, just where you can submit ticket/event pricing. There’s only one field for that. It would be nice if it could have at least a range of prices instead of just one. ($5-10 instead of just $5)

ParticipantI’m not sure that it’s a standard shared plan. I don’t think their standard plans come with c-panel access. It’s all on one IP as well. I was sort of thinking it was a VPS of some sort. They aren’t real clear about any of that in how it’s labeled though. I suppose I’d have to contact their support. They do have at least one more level (upgrade) that doubles the RAM and “I/O” (speed at which the site can retrieve and store data to the hard disks, is their definition of I/O)
Do you think cutting down on the length of the repeats would help things out? Cutting them down to a year or so?
I don’t have any caching plugins setup, though I think I saw something on GD support that GoDaddy has their own caching setup already and they actually blacklist some WP cache plugins due to being redundant to what they do (or they don’t work correctly with their system).

ParticipantThe Events panel shows 1,485 items, (75 pages worth). About 5-10 events and most recur weekly though 2017. Some may be twice a week. Looks like there are only 3 events that don’t recur.
It is hosted at GoDaddy. The hosting box calls it an, “Ultimate Linux Hosting with cPanel” account. There are about 8 sites currently, none of which should be getting much traffic or using lots of resources. 1024 MB RAM, 2 CPUs.
January 24, 2013 at 5:34 am in reply to: Can't Upgrade PRO to 2.0.11 after Upgrading Event Calendar to 2.0.11 #31505Jay
ParticipantHad this problem on another site running ECP.
So it seems the problem is that if you upgrade the regular Events Calendar first, the EC Pro flips out and removes the normal Update link on the plugins page (as it did notify me before I upgraded the EC, but not after) and adds the message at the top reading, “The following plugins are out of date: Events Calendar PRO 2.0.10. Please update now. All add-ons contain dependencies on The Events Calendar and will not function properly unless paired with the right version. Want to pair an older version?”. If you then click the Update link in that message, it won’t update immediately saying, “The plugin is at the latest version.”. This seems to resolve it self after a few hours as going back and clicking that link again, then upgrades it as “normal”.
It would be much better if it just left the normal upgrade message on the plugins page or there was some instruction to upgrade ECPro FIRST (assuming that wouldn’t give the same problem in reverse) or something, rather than this message at the top which seems broken for at least a few hours. ???
Going to the Dashboard > Upgrades and Check for updates Button did work in bringing back the normal update message on EC Pro on the plugins page however. It would be better if it didn’t disappear in the first place though.

ParticipantOK, after waiting a few hours, It now auto updates when I clicked the update link in the out of sync warning message. (previously it said 2.0.10 was the latest version)
So I’d say just wait awhile and check back if that auto update isn’t working.

ParticipantI downloaded the zip of the latest version. What is the best procedure to upgrade from there. Just copy over top of the other folder or delete the old folder and replace it (either by copying or installing via wordpress plugin installer)?
Should it be prompt me that there’s a new version available and it should auto update? Maybe it’s the pro version just hasn’t had time to propagate yet and it will show up in a bit.

ParticipantI’ve having this problem also. (and mine hasn’t rectified it self yet)

ParticipantGreat! Thanks. I did do a search for this issue, but apparently not for the right words.
