Thanks for your response, Jeremy. I will take your advice and refrain from 2:00 am site experimentation:).

I’ll check into the items you mentioned above. The weird thing is that I have done two sites with the same theme and the same events calendar plugin, and both showed up with a sidebar. I don’t think I did anything to put them there. I am so new to this, though, that I am having a difficult time keeping track of what I have done, since I am learning as go along.

To answer your question, I am using Divi Theme for my site.

The strange thing is that I have another site, also Divi, that I did it to without coding. Wherever I did it, I was able to see the changes in real time. Right now, I can’t even figure out how to edit my sidebar at all. I am new to all of this, so my learning curve is huge! Thank you for your help. I am hoping to delve into the css coding at some point, but I am a little nervous about it just yet LOL.
