ParticipantI am using Community Events with Divi Theme. I have placed the Events widget in the sidebar of my site and would like to make the title bold and a bit bigger and the hover link color red. I have done this on another site, but I for the life of me, cannot find out how I did it.

KeymasterHello,
Thanks for reaching out!
You can change some of the styling under Appearance > Customize > The Events Calendar, but keep in mind that your theme will have an influence on the styling. You might need to add some custom CSS to get this styled exactly the way that you would like. We have some tips on styling widgets here. This article mentions copying the CSS files into your tribe-events folder, but this method is outdated and will not work; however, you can still add the CSS rules there to the Additional CSS area under Appearance > Customize or to the style.css file of your child theme.
We are limited in the amount of support that we can provide for customizations, but if you get stuck or have any questions, please let me know – I’ll be happy to try to point you in the right direction!
Thanks,
Jennifer

ParticipantThe strange thing is that I have another site, also Divi, that I did it to without coding. Wherever I did it, I was able to see the changes in real time. Right now, I can’t even figure out how to edit my sidebar at all. I am new to all of this, so my learning curve is huge! Thank you for your help. I am hoping to delve into the css coding at some point, but I am a little nervous about it just yet LOL.

KeymasterHa no worries, I completely understand! If you have any caching enabled, such as on your server or via a plugin, it could be that you need to clear that out to see the changes on the front end. You might try clearing out your browser cache as well. It could be that you are changing the right thing, but the change just hasn’t shown up on the frontend yet.
Let me know if you get stuck!

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
