Hi! I used the WP Export tool, but it only exports to XML. I tried that CSV plugin that was recommended, but it output gibberish.

I have no idea how to run an SQL query – that’s beyond our technical expertise. So unfortunately, I guess there really is no way to export the data we want then?

Hi! I dropped that code into my theme’s custom CSS file, but no change. What should we try next? Thanks!

Hi! So I was able to filter the list by date range. It’s helpful, but the person we need to give the report to wants to be able to see the location (city) where each event is held. Which this does not offer. And he does not access the back end of WordPress, so also no help. I tried that CSV plugin – sadly, again, no help.

We’re going to have a hard time explaining to the boss why we can’t give him a simple event report. All’s we need exported are:
    Event Date
    Event Name
    City (from the Venue)

Is there really NO way to do this?

Nope, that threw an error and locked me out of the site.

Hmm, ok, let me look at my filters again. And I’ll take a look at that plugin as well. Thanks!

Hi Rob! I think we’re good for now. We’re very much looking forward to the beta this week – thank you!

Hi Rob! Thanks so much for the detailed reply. I apologize for the tone of frustration in my last post – it’s been a long week and jumping through hoops to correct event times was just the icing on the cake.

Would love to be part of the beta test – yes, and thank you!

And if all goes well, I will take you up on the renewal.

And I sure do hope that moving to the new API clears up that price change issue – that one definitely creates a lot of work.

I’m very much looking forward to seeing these problems solved – and to taking part in the Beta. Thanks again! 🙂

You can see it here in the sidebar – big gap between events as well as below the widget title: http://dev.manchesteranimalshelter.org/programs-services/quick-fix-clinic/
You can also see it on the homepage where there’s no widget title http://dev.manchesteranimalshelter.org – big gap between events. Thanks!

Awesome – that works great! However, there’s still a HUGE vertical gap between each listing. How can I close that?

Yes, please. The inability to resolve this, for us, will likely mean we have to find a different solution. We are inputting events almost daily in all time zones and we are constantly getting smacked with the discrepancy and having to manually correct – which often slips through the cracks and confuses our customers. And it just adds time and more time to our already time-consuming process. This is a deal-breaker for us. Thanks!

Hi! This is my typical workflow:
    1) set up EventBrite – date, time, venue, tickets, order form, order confirmations, discount codes, etc. (I do not type in the event description here, however – it gets eaten alive when imported into Tribe).
    2) Push EB live and view the event – grab the ID.
    3) Import EB ID into Tribe. Verify the info, fix the times (cause they always self-adjust), categorize the event. Push live to WordPress.
    4) Go back into EventBrite and adjust the times again, because once I save in Tribe/WP, it overrides EB times because Tribe/WP thinks all my events are in ET.

Because EB is the system that sends out all the confirmation emails and reminders, we need the dates on both sides to match.

I’ve tried reversing the workflow and starting in Tribe first, but when it goes into EB, it goes into a blank template and I have to redo my branding in EB for every event – which takes forever and a day. The workflow I’m using, after much trial and error, is the most efficient. If we could just get the event times and time zones to stay true and disregard our home office time zone, we’d be happy campers. Thanks!

Hi! Yes, our home office location is in Massachussetts (Eastern Time). But we conduct events all over the US and Canada, so the only thing that matters is the location of the event it self. Where our home office is located has no bearing. If you could create a toggle in the preferences to ignore home-office/WP time zone, that would be AWESOME! Thanks! 🙂

Ok, I just figured out the work around. Now instead of resetting the time zone in EB, I have to reset the time. So the urgency is lessened, but this still needs to be fixed PLEASE! 🙂
