ParticipantWe’re having the same issue – everything is showing as yesterday’s date.

ParticipantHi George,
I wondered if you had an update to this issue. I’ve just downloaded the latest updates to the Event Calendar Pro and to the Eventbrite add-on, and the problem still remains.

ParticipantHi George,
That doesn’t sound correct. All of our events in the past have been set to private, and we’ve had no issue. Something has changed in the latest update.
The only difference in setting an event as private is that it’s not listed in the Eventbrite directory of events. It’s still possible for anyone to access it, if they know the event number.
We’d be grateful if you could find a fix to this issue.
Thanks.

ParticipantHi George,
Interesting. We’ve made this a public event, and the ticket box appears. If we the switch it back to a private event, the ticket box remains in place.
Our events are for members of our society, so shouldn’t be listed as “public”, so we’d be grateful for a resolution to this issue.
Thanks,
Flamsteed AS.

ParticipantHi George,
Yes, it’s set to display tickets on the event page. We used the same import routine as normal. Events that had been set up prior to the update are still working fine. It’s just anything that’s been set up since the update where the ticket window is not appearing.
See the Eventbrite settings in the image below:

Kind regards,

ParticipantHi,
We managed to resolve this ourselves. We had made changes to single-event.php in a previous version, so had to bring the functionality into line for the new version.

ParticipantHi George,
I reinstated the original list-widget.php file and this didn’t seem to make any difference. I then tried using some of the other widgets and they all worked OK. As a final try, I reinstated list-widget.php again, and the upcoming events are now working! It may have been a caching issue when I originally reinstated the PHP file.
Anyway, all is now working OK.
Many thanks,
Mike.

ParticipantOK, I’ve reactivated the areas that you deactivated in your investigation. Somewhat disappointed that the site was left in this state, particularly as you promised to put everything back the way it was.
I note from this thread http://wordpress.org/support/topic/past-events-not-being-displayed on the ‘free’ package that several people have noted the issue with previous events and there is a suggested fix from a user.flamsteedas
ParticipantI’m not happy about changing my permalinks settings, as we have several links to website reports from other websites that would be instantly broken. The UTC change didn’t help.
Could you please reactivate the sidebar widgets that you’ve deactivated… The calendar and the subscription areas.

ParticipantOK, so I’ve sorted the CSS issue with the drop-down calendar.
However, I can’t find a solution to the ‘Previous Events’ problem. I’ve tried deactivating plug-ins, to no avail. This was working fine prior to version 3.0 upgrade. Just to reiterate, if I click in the ‘previous events’ button in the main ‘upcoming events’ screen, I get the message ‘no previous events’, despite the fact that I have around 60 previous events available.
Please advise.

ParticipantI’m seeing the same thing.

ParticipantThanks for (1). I’ll give this a go.
As regards (2), I have about 60 events prior to July. Examples are: http://flamsteed.info/event/visit-to-the-rog-astronomy-reserve-collection/ and http://flamsteed.info/event/flamsteed-lecture-members-talks/ -
