ParticipantOk, but where does this code go? I didn’t see it listed anywhere.

ParticipantWell, I can code, but I was wondering what the easiest way would be. Apparently your new Community Events plugin will do that! 🙂 However, I think we were told we were getting a beta version and I don’t think I received it. Do you know how I can check on that?
Thanks,

ParticipantAsked and answered! Thanks! That worked perfectly. 🙂
How would I know that, though? Is there somewhere I can look to have figured that out?

ParticipantWhelp, I guess I didn’t need this answered. I just pointed the domain to the WP install and database, so nothing changed!
However, the answer to this question might be good for others to know. 🙂

ParticipantThat covers it. Thanks! But what do the ’20’ and the ‘999’ represent?
Thanks,

ParticipantOk, great! That gets me off to a great start! How about the overlay, though? That white-ish filter which covers the page when you change it?
Thanks,

ParticipantDarn. Well, yeah, I understand you can’t assist us directly with development. I wouldn’t expect it. 🙂
I would, however, like to ask if it would be possible for you to tell me how I can make a call to the Ajax function which refreshes the page? If I can create a form using an id different from the default, I’ll be set. Plus I’ll get to use it in multiple places, which is my plan. I could dig around the code, but I think you’re doing it in a specific way, and I’d like to follow your coding standards to replicate.
Thanks!

ParticipantThanks, but I think there’s been a misunderstanding. The functionality is fine with the built-in plugin, but I am planning to make my own custom button. Basically, I want to click a link
<a href="">like this</a>and have it change the view without losing parameters. Do you have any advice about how I should accomplish this?fifteen15studios
ParticipantIt answers them well enough. It’s a good starting point! Thanks! I appreciate it!

ParticipantThanks!! I’ll probably try that soon.

ParticipantSure! It’s the page I listed in the request, which we can’t see because it’s private. Are you able to see the URL? If I need to provide it, I will, but I’d rather keep all referred URLs private if I can. Anyway, if you go to the main page, I made a dropdown list which you can see if you click the upper left icon (which looks like a magnifying glass). Doing so will open a list which uses the form tag your code provided. It works great, except if I do it on a mobile, the form disappears after I select an option. It hides itself.
Another problem I found with the code your team provided before to hide the expand/collapse button is that it disables the ability to scroll if on a mobile or minimized window. As soon as the other CSS takes over, I can’t scroll. 🙂 This only occurs when I have that code in my site. If not, the scrolling runs fine.
I think what’s going on is the expand/collapse function does something different when in mobile mode, and I would like to turn that off in full if I can.
Thanks!

ParticipantThank you! That worked. 🙂
Yeah, it’s not going to take up the whole page. I’m going to disable it and make my own. 🙂
Thanks!

ParticipantOk, thanks! I did that. 🙂

ParticipantOk, yeah. I figured that out over the weekend. If I have more than one instance, I have duplicate IDs, and only one of them works. Thanks!
