ParticipantI would like to make custom buttons which change the view. The Events Calendar already has these built in, but I would like to create my own buttons to make it fit better with our interface.
How can I add a button link to my page which changes the view and also preserves all the filters I have for my page?
For example, I want to change
http://mysite.com/events/month?tribe_paged=1&tribe_event_display=list&tribe_eventcategory[]=23&tribe_cost[]=0-0&tribe_cost[]=0-25&tribe_timeofday[]=06-12to this
http://mysite.com/events/today?tribe_paged=1&tribe_event_display=list&tribe_eventcategory[]=23&tribe_cost[]=0-0&tribe_cost[]=0-25&tribe_timeofday[]=06-12Thanks!

MemberHi again, fifteen15studios.
I tested both the PRO’s search and Filter Bar’s search and the query string parameters don’t get lost when switching views (e.g. from Month to Day).
Here’s a gif of my testing in Firefox with PRO v3.12.2 and Filter Bar v3.12:

If you’re not able to replicate this, maybe your Modern Tribe plugin(s) aren’t at the latest version(s) or there could be a theme or plugin conflict. Or if you have some custom functionality going on, maybe it’s not letting the MT plugin(s) behave in their normal manner.
I’m looking forward to hearing back from you soon. Thanks.

ParticipantThanks, but I think there’s been a misunderstanding. The functionality is fine with the built-in plugin, but I am planning to make my own custom button. Basically, I want to click a link
like thisand have it change the view without losing parameters. Do you have any advice about how I should accomplish this?October 2, 2015 at 12:56 pm #1011065Cliff
