THANK YOU. Yes. Not as small as 66%, but just knowing that code so I can do 85% helped. Glad you helped! Others seemed to be avoiding the specific questions I was asking. JD

THANK YOU. The custom CSS did the trick for the month’s viewing to fit in my template.

Still curious to know how to use a smaller text for the event names. Tried numerous CSS coding. Couldn’t seem to shrink it.

Sorry, but I am not advanced in WordPress, php or using a Themer’s Guide.

This is all very unfortunate. Why if the older calendar fit perfectly into my theme’s template, can the new calendar not be tweaked to a skinnier width ?

Can no one give me more direct instructions on how to get this upgrade to function better ? I am suspecting there is a certain field or code that just needs some css adjustments.

The Simpliest question I have : If I want the text size to be smaller in my calendar’s monthly grid view, how do I achieve that ?

    Thanks for the reply.
But the problem was that all my three Events Calendar plug-ins didn’t upgrade at the same time. I got this problem resolved by deleting my two old premium plugins of PRO and COMMUNITY EVENTS. Then manually uploading the newer versions from my account. I had other problems so I had posted a request in PRO as well as here — knowing different support people seem to be available to help out on a per board basis.

I commented in the other thread that I can’t believe how “buggy” this upgrade is. Probably spent over two hours doing extra work and fixes. Still haven’t got the Calendar the way I want it. (frustrated)

JD … mark this issue as resolved but seems to be other problems still to settle

I am finding it extremely frustrating that an “upgrade” that you put out weeks ago is so incredibly “BUGGY”. We as installers and users are having to fix several problems that your company is just letting sit there. You don’t have any sort of TOP FLAGGED WARNING that if you upgrade one or all three of your products with us, you could have hours of fixing to do.

First, find the problems by testing all aspects of the plugins.
Second, try to research the bug in support forums.
Third, implement the fixes — if there is one.

Yes, I found the fix to NO EVENTS SHOWING UP by searching forums and found this post here which took me to another post :

Edit events not showing any events

But why do I have to do all this work? When is a new update coming out? And will that one be “BUGGY” too?

I beg you …. someone please tell me how to get rid of “RELATED EVENTS”.

Sorry but I don’t want an alternate template. I would like the “new” calendar to fit into my page template as the “old” calendar did. Seems as though the font size if making the daily columns too wide, pushing the calendar off of the left body area. I have tried multiple suggestions from the forums in terms of manipulating the CSS coding, but something still isn’t right.

I have followed your steps and now I have a new set of problems. Why do I have 341 published events, but can’t see or access any of them in my Events dashboard ?

Oh goodness. “Related Events” at the bottom of event listings needs to disappear as fast as I can find a way to kill it. Not a feature I think we will ever want to use. sorry.

looks like I am going to have to delete the older versions as I get this message if I don’t :

Installing Plugin from uploaded file: events-calendar-pro.3.0.5.zip
    Unpacking the package…
    Installing the plugin…
    Destination folder already exists. /hermes/walnaweb01a/b1732/pow.jdcanada/htdocs/WP/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/
    Plugin install failed.
    Return to Plugins page
