ParticipantWhile I respect your decision to discontinue reduced renewals to your loyal customers, I find it odd that:
1) You did NOT notify us of this change.
2) You did NOT send a renewal notification.
3) MOST IMPORTANTLY: Your own Licensing FAQ page (which I’ve save a date-stamped capture of) explicitly states:
“Happily, we provide discounts to our returning customers. So after your initial purchase, the yearly renewals will be discounted below list price as a thank you for your loyalty and continued support.”
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/what-does-buying-a-license-get-me/
I’ve happily purchased a renewal for several years now — even upgrading to the 10 user license along the way — but I can’t justify paying full price every year.
I hope you’ll make this change clear to your other customers so they can, as I will now need to, make an informed decision how to move forward.
Thank you

ParticipantI also did not receive a renewal reminder, found out today my license expired last week, and am being charged full price for the renewal.
Thanks

ParticipantI resolved the conflict!!
This took some careful experimenting, but I finally figured out the combination that causes the issue with Events Calendar Pro and the Gravity Forms editor.
The conflict with the Gravity Forms editor is caused when BOTH Events Calendar Pro AND Soliloquy (slider) are activated.
If Events Calendar Pro OR Soliloquy are activated, then the Gravity Forms editor works as it should.
It’s only when both Events Calendar Pro AND Soliloquy are activated that Gravity Forms will not let me edit or create a form.
<i>Which is just fine with me because I don’t normally use that slider plugin — I’d inherited it from the client. That’s an entirely different conversation I’ll need to have! :)</i>
I’d not detected it before because of the order in which I’d slowly introduced all the disabled plugins. Go figure…
Thanks!

ParticipantOkay, my apologies: it does NOT appear to be a conflict between Events Calendar Pro and Gravity Forms.
I created a fresh WordPress install for testing the issue and can’t reproduce it.
I’m not sure where the conflict lies in the original site as I disabled all plugins and reverted to a “stock” theme, but it’s clearly NOT something you should spend any time attempting to resolve.
Thanks and apologies for the false alarm.

ParticipantQuick Notes & Update to the conflict:
> The conflict only occurs when The Events Calendar PRO is enabled.
> Non-Pro The Events Calendar does not cause a problem with form editing in Gravity Forms.
> I attempted to downgrade The Events Calendar & Pro to 3.5.x and the problem is there with that version as well.
I only recently added Pro to this particular site in development, so I wouldn’t have noticed the issue before.
Thanks again in advance for any insight into the issue.

ParticipantNo apologies needed. I thought I was continuing the thread since it appeared to be the same problem. I’ll post again.
Thanks,

ParticipantI came here looking for a solution to an Events Calendar Pro conflict I noticed.
Whenever ECP is activated, the Gravity Forms Form Editor breaks (can’t add fields).
Unfortunately, adding the code above to functions.php does not solve the problem. The only solution is to disable ECP which then allows me to edit forms again.
Needless to say, disabling Events Calendar Pro every time I want to edit or create a form isn’t ideal. 🙂
I have both Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro 3.6.1 installed.
Everything else is running on the latest releases.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
