Fabulous, thanks. I ended up putting the </a> tag after the whole text so the whole thing is clickable. But this was perfect.

    Hi Jaime

Thanks for getting back to me.
Here is a video for you to see what’s happening: https://www.useloom.com/share/e743b4b790144736948182a9e7481748

I don’t think playing with the template will help this issue because its something that the shortcode itself is doing in pushing the map above any content on the page.

I look forward to hearing back from you. We are very keen to use the map functionality for our site.

    Thanks
    Sarah

Ok I’ve put it back into 2017 and as you can see the shortcodes from the site build are sitting in between the map and the event listings.

I’m happy for you to log into the site and play around if that’s useful. This is a staging site and I’m fine with it being mucked up.

I’ve updated this page to remove all the shortcodes from divi. The same issue still happens. In map view the map sits above the main content of the page, even though the shortcode comes after the initial content.

    In the backend I have:

    content
    event shortcode
    content

But in map view it shows
    Map
    Content
    event listing
    content.

The map should be directly above the event listing rather than pushed to the top of the page.

Thank you for getting back to me. Sorry, we had to make the site live and I have disabled the map functionality.
You can see the issue here on a staging site: https://staging1.trufflefestival.com.au/program/?tribe_event_display=map

I am guessing its something to do with the way it’s interacting with the theme Divi.
But I am hoping you can give me some more direction if I need to follow it up with their developers directly.

This wasn’t quite what I was looking for. But I’ve found a way around it.

Ok thank you for your reply. I have already added my vote and comment of concern. I really hope this is looked at. I also suggest having more explanation on the product itself to show it is only for the main archive page.

So now to work out how to get around this. I need the product and my client wants the filter, so I won’t be asking for a refund.

Can you please point me in the direction of some documentation on editing the archive pages where the filter do work. I have already tried to add archive-events.php to my child theme and work with that, but it doesn’t seem to be impacting on the page. http://new.trufflefestival.com.au/events/ I will need to add content, like a header and wording to go with the calendar, unlike how it is just dumped on a plain page at the moment. I’m happy to do the editing, if you have any documentation on editing these specific pages.

    Thank you for your help.

    Thanks for this reply.
I’ll use a single type showing temporarily.

I’ve also noticed that this shortcode isn’t narrowing down correctly.
I have three categories borrow-the-trailer, meetings, trips

Here is a test page using this shortcode:
    [tribe_events category=”trips, meetings”]

    http://landrovers.wpengine.com/test-calendar/

It is showing up all categories rather than just meeting and trips (the wagga wagga one shouldn’t be showing).

Am I doing something wrong in my shortcode?
