I believe I understand the issue. Is there way for me to manually for the time-being fix the issue on my specific installation? I have used Pagelines for a number of client websites so I will have to find a better long-term solution.

For now however I need to have a way for the Feature Image function to work without changing themes or deactivating Events Calendar Pro each time we add/edit an event.

I tried this fix and cannot seem to get it to work. I added it to functions.php within my Theme.

I have checked a few things and cannot bring the function back. I know that my theme Pagelines Platform Pro supports the Featured Image in Event Calendar because I was able to use the function prior to upgrading to Event Calendar Pro.

I am having the same problem today when I upgraded to the pro version. I have the option to set a Featured Image in normal posts. Just not in the Event Calendar.
