What *is* the latest version?
I have Version 4.6.14.1, with the same issue as above. I’ve been working with Jaime on my issue, as noted below:
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/run-import-via-google-calendar-error-message/#post-1515348Thanks.
TracyParticipantHi Jaime –
Just wanted to let you know that simply changing the parameters of my scheduled import from 3 months to 1 month has not resolved the issue.
Here is my latest screen shot of the import schedule:
https://screenshots.firefox.com/qvd9z6eGBlpuo6Up/www.messiahchurch.orgWhen the import fails, it appears to try again every hour. And works randomly. We are not importing that many new items at each import that the size should be a problem. On average, I would say we’d have 5-10 new items.
Just wanted to let you know that the proposed work-a-round is sketchy at best.
Thanks,
TracyTracyParticipantI don’t know how to enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG.
The settings on my scheduled import has always been set to limit by 3 month date range. Not sure why this would be failing after 6 months of working successfully.
“The import being fetched is not being queued up for importing. Please try the import again” – this is the error message I get when I hover over the red exclamation point on the import history page – where all the imports fail.
I set up a new import this morning to run for a 1 month date range. That import was successful. HOWEVER, I have deleted the scheduled import and set up a new one before that is successful a time or two before it fails. AND a 1 month date range is not far enough out. – that 3 month range is really the minimum. So not resolved…
Does any of this help?

TracyParticipantUpdate on my issue…
I updated the PlugIn – didn’t help
I removed the License Key, then reconnected our site to our License – didn’t help
I removed the Re-Occuring Import, then recreated it, using the same parameters – this helped with the import…until I tried it again, a few hours later. Back to the same error message: “The import being fetched is not queued up for importing. Please try the import again.”Any assistance here would be much appreciated.
TracyParticipantAny feedback on my issue would be greatly appreciated.

We will probably set up a real cron job on the live server. Good to know on event deletion. Seems like a big deal that it isn’t included. I’m going to vote on it now.
Thanks,

I’m aware of how cron jobs work, and the inconsistencies, but we’ve been visiting the site enough that the jobs should at least be running in the morning, not at 5pm.
Unfortunately, do to our launch deadline, we weren’t able to leave the events on the site as they were, so we manually added them.
Finally, the biggest thing I want to address that I haven’t heard from you: Should The Event Calendar (with Event Aggregator) properly delete an event if you delete it from Google Calendar?
November 14, 2017 at 8:36 am in reply to: Imported Events via Events Aggregator – Timing and Import Conflicts #1382630TracyParticipantOk, regarding the actual events in question. Here they are:
11/15 A Conversation with Carol Erickson
11/16 Grief Coalition Dinner
12/24 Christmas Eve Worship – there were 4 events added here, as well as Sunday School removed & live streaming for 8:45 & 10:30 removedIt seems as though some events are just never added with the automated import, and I’m not sure if any events at all are being properly deleted. Let me know if you have any thoughts.

November 14, 2017 at 7:58 am in reply to: Imported Events via Events Aggregator – Timing and Import Conflicts #1382496TracyParticipantHere’s the screenshot. Looks like it’s still importing at the wrong time of day. I’ve also added a second screenshot showing my import history. Note the times on the imports. Also note the failed import on Nov 11 (this happened after my initial request). I don’t know where to find detail on this, other than it looks like there was a problem.
November 13, 2017 at 7:59 am in reply to: Imported Events via Events Aggregator – Timing and Import Conflicts #1381594TracyParticipantThanks for the note, Jaime,
I should have mentioned that I did do these two things, the time zone is accurate and the import setting is 3 months (the events in question are about 1 1/2 months out.
