Hi Team – thanks for your reply.

For any users looking for answers on this thread, I stopped using the shortcode altogether, used the default event page at my own desired slug (changed in Event Calendar Pro settings), and adding some custom HTML after it in the area provided again in Event Calendar display settings.

I got stuff on the page that needed to be there, I can use filter bar.

I also voted to request filter bar for shortcode use.

Great – thanks very much, EC team! Our team suspected it was an update issue, because we had already accomplished the URL change and it broke after the 1st update we made.

Your second update that just shipped as resolved the problem.
