I tweaked the settings in The Events Calendar and it looks better, but I need a left margin and something isn’t right with the left and right arrows to the past and next event. Otherwise, it’s looking much better.

It had a major update probably Jan. 9 is what I can gather and they apparently aren’t supporting the free theme. I have a child theme, but I switched to the major theme and it’s not that. I tried other themes, but it would be like rebuilding the site to switch to another theme.
Any idea where the issue could be? I have tried troubleshooting on Firefox, but I haven’t done website development in years.

If the Church has to hire someone to do it, they may end up with a theme that includes a calendar if the person they hire suggests it. Up until now The Event Calendar has served us well.
June 10, 2014 at 11:48 am in reply to: Gobbledygook (code) showing on Events page for some users #217148dmuucParticipantThanks! It turned out that Wordfence was causing the problem that created an infinite error loop according to the error files.
dmuucParticipantI did it and it still says “View All Events in Category”. I put it at the top at my child’s function.php just under the <?php and it has the ?> ending and in the middle is pasted the code from the page you linked to with “View All Events” in the custom text and when that didn’t work, I also deleted the “in Categories” from the other text area. My site is dmuuc.org
dmuucParticipantI think this makes the point that it would be good to have a selection in the widget to choose if we want the link to go to just the category or to all events and then for the link text and link to change accordingly. Thanks!
dmuucParticipantI use categories, but I wanted the link to go to all of the events. I’m happy that the update now does that, but I’d rather it said “View All Events” if possible. If I could edit something for this version, I’d like to know. Otherwise, if it’s not too much trouble, it would be nice if there was a selection of the wording in the link in the widget. Thanks!
dmuucParticipantI don’t even remember what the problem was now. 🙂 It is working, though.

November 12, 2013 at 8:57 pm in reply to: [resolved] Need Pro Upgrade to 3.2 – Widgets not working #76141dmuucParticipantThanks for letting me know about the access problem. I had fixed the license key problem earlier after a support email, but I may have made a mistake giving someone admin access who knew a lot less than I thought she knew. Now I have to fix whatever is causing that.
dmuucParticipantIt’s up and running. Thanks!
dmuucParticipantThanks for getting back to me. My server had a major problem, so the site is down. A couple days ago, I wasn’t getting a link to upgrade the Pro version. I’ll let you know when my site is back up or I move to a new server.
dmuucParticipantYes. Thanks!
dmuucParticipantMy mistake. I think I messed up something putting the code in to get back the recurring event editing page. Getting a new version with that fixed would be nice. Thanks!
