ParticipantThat seemed to work for now. So I need to reset the timezone each time?

ParticipantWe are running all the latest updates and the latest version of wordpress. However the problem occurred previous to the latest set of upgrades.
Time zone is correct in wordpress. It has been going on a week now. This has gotten to a critical point.

We do have one weird thing. I have two instances of having authorized Eventbrite to be accessed by the event calendar because it was very unclear when I did the updated authorization that it successfully completed the transition.

ParticipantThe docs refer to a list of incompadible plugin/themes but there is no link to it nor can I find it. Where would it be?

ParticipantNo joy.
I’m using headway, but am using the mulitple themes plugin to have the monthly events page use the 2014 default theme. Added the code snippet in both the headway and 2014 themes.

ParticipantOk, so all I had to do was make sure the description was less then 1000 words. Is there anyway you guys can clarify that in the error message that gets sent back? If I’d known that, I would have fixed it a couple of days ago. It’s not really a big problem for me…just needed to understand what was happening.

Participantcan you give me a link to what the new replacement code should be for the widget. I want to do it again from scratch with the new code for the simplified calendar widget. Also, can you tell me what I would need to add to that customization in order to remove the date from being written with each list item, (since it is already shown with the more graphic display.). And, yes, I guess I’d like a list of contract developers, although what I’d really like is a place I could go where people would share the customizations they had made.

ParticipantI’m not talking about the wordpress upgrade. I’m talking about the event calendar 3.2 upgrades. That is when things started to fail. if I use the theme test drive to get 2014 to be the theme, there is no problem. And if I use the standard list view, it is fine as well. It is just with the modified version of the calendar widget that we get off the rails again. (I do have a thread on the other problem now, although it is also an issue with the modified version of the plugin.)
Connected with this, I’m finding it very hard to figure out where to go if I just want to specify which fields are used in the list. Ideally I also really want to do is have a list with a date, and then all the things happening on that date grouped in time order underneath and then the next date.
December 16, 2013 at 10:49 am in reply to: Can't use WPEngines staging because we don't have a second install… #81918d20games
ParticipantJulie,
This did end up causing a problem. When I connected the licences to the staging site and then went and did a deployment from staging to live, the event pro calendar widget (which I previously had modified and was in the appropriate theme folder) ceased to work at all. In fact, when I rolled back to an earlier functioning version of the site, the pro calendar widget continued not to function. Even disconnecting the licence from the staging site and returning it to the main site has not restored the functionality. I’ve had to add the list widget in its place.
Please help.

ParticipantCan you please look at this problem for me. It is preventing me from upgrading. And another problem with using the licence with my staging server has ended up causing the main instance of this to fail on the primary site. Whatever the problem is that I have, it is not matching what you described as the existing bug.

ParticipantNo, it is set to 5 events. Try and look at the site again…it is back up now (server glitch at the hosting company).

Participantnope….go to http://d20games.staging.wpengine.com/ and you can see what is happening. It is showing the last sets of blog posts rather then the events.
