    I just created an event and got the following error message…

    Eventbrite did not accept the update. Your changes have been saved locally.
    Status: 502

    It also keeps resetting the time for the ticket sale start and end

    I’ve posted several other events today with full success…it only seems to be this event. http://www.d20alameda.com/event/pokemon-xy-release/

    Hi, d20games. Great question!

    Unfortunately, it looks like you’re seeing a limitation in the Eventbrite API where it limits the length of descriptions that can be passed to it when creating events. We’ve talked to them about the possibility of changing this, but without much traction thus far.

    The upshot is that it’s not possible to create an event with a long description/body in TEC and have it work in Eventbrite. If you find this frustrating (which we sure do!), it would be great if you would get in touch with their support team and let them know. They seem to respond more quickly to customer feedback than request from us. 🙂

    Ok, so all I had to do was make sure the description was less then 1000 words. Is there anyway you guys can clarify that in the error message that gets sent back? If I’d known that, I would have fixed it a couple of days ago. It’s not really a big problem for me…just needed to understand what was happening.
