Okay. That’s a relief. Sure I’d be happy to wait. I had particular concern for a few reasons — there’s been a notice on my backend to update the plugin. I have let it go and let it go and today I finally did it because I’ve had someone trying to help me set up an ad tracker and we installed ad rotate to try it out. I thought that might be conflicting. I also renewed my license today. In doing so I downloaded the new Cal Pro but didnt’ actually install it because it seemed to update itself and now my plugins page is reading I have the new version. So, I will wait and see what happens. Thank you for your great fast reply(s). -c-
Can you tell me how to update? My plug-ins page says it’s out of date, then when I click on “update” it tells me I have the latest version. But it also says I have the latest version. I’m quit confused. I’d like to update, I’d like to have the support. I want it all. My site is environmentalheadlines.com/ct thanks. !
Thanks for your help, Jonah. I’m having various other problems with the site (particularly with the feed which comes from feedburner) but the calendar is working. I did lose the text that I had above and below, but I think I have that saved in a file and can throw it in, or re-do, but you were right, I did not need the shortcode.
Thank you! I get so caught up in other things, I forget the details sometimes. Does this mean I can delete the [events calendar large] code from the Events Calendar page? And do I need that page at all? Thanks so much.
If you can wait til around 2 EST that might be best. I think he’s trying to back up the database, not that I think it would make much of a difference, but may be best. Thanks!!
Okay, sorry about that. It should be safe to log in .. it’s just up in the past 6 hours, so it might be slightly clunky but I’m very interested in what I’m doing wrong because there’s clearly the [code][/code] for calendar currently on the page. and I do want to put, if possible, text above and below the actual calendar rendering when all is said and done — rules on top and a list of other calendars on the bottom of the page. Thanks so much!

I didn’t get it figured out at all. I removed all the text on the events page in wp-admin and all the text remains on the events page on the website.
I don’t understand about your short code comment … Do you mean I don’t need the [events-calendar-large] code??? Perhaps that’s what’s messing it up. ? Thanks … I’d love to figure out how I can update the links on the bottom of that page (and the text on top of that page). Can I have text on the same page as the calendar?I think I put in some hard rule html above and below the [events-calendar-large] to separate those sections from the calendar. Thanks!
Well, I just deleted everything on the page except for [events-calendar-large] and everything that was there before is still there. So I had some text before the [events-calendar-large] code that said … free events are listed free, support this site, blah blah blah. Then below the [events-calendar-large] I had “here are some other links to other events calendars in the state you might be interested in. I entered this text and the links (html) above and below the [events-calendar-large] code. I think I put in some too above and below to separate the sections from the calendar.

My problem is if I remove the [ 100% wide } css rule globally (not exactly sure how id’ do that, i’m assumign that’s what it look like in the style_defaul.css file), I’m not sure how i’d apply it to selectors when necessary. I don’t do a lot of backend work (and try to limit that so I don’t screw up the blog beyond recognition or I’d really be in trouble). 2. I’m not sure how I’d add that css to the custom events css. I don’t see that file under the editor section. Thanks!
