Hi Chris,

So, it looks like you got HTML input before and after the calendar in the Settings > The Events Calendar > Template as you can see here: http://cl.ly/2o0a3D1H0Q2x2A3f471B

Have you tried removing that? I see you’ve also got the W3TC caching plugin installed which you may need to clear the cache to see changes if you’ve made any and are not seeing them.

Try that and let me know how it goes.

Thank you! I get so caught up in other things, I forget the details sometimes. Does this mean I can delete the [events calendar large] code from the Events Calendar page? And do I need that page at all? Thanks so much.

Hi Christopher,

You can try deleting that shortcode, I’m not sure what it’s going to do because I don’t know why it’s there. You’ll need to try it out and see what happens… Same for the page. The plugin, as of version 2.0, creates it’s own page in background so having an actual events page won’t do anything. If you delete it you can always retrieve it from the trash 🙂 Give that a go and let me know if it works.

Thanks for your help, Jonah. I’m having various other problems with the site (particularly with the feed which comes from feedburner) but the calendar is working. I did lose the text that I had above and below, but I think I have that saved in a file and can throw it in, or re-do, but you were right, I did not need the shortcode.
