ParticipantThanks so much Casey!
I will see what I can do this evening and let you know!
Christopher
ParticipantThanks again Casey, I am going to have a good look at this now that it’s day-time again!
Quick one – you didn’t touch on how I can change:
“As a bonus you’d like to be able to change the light gray ‘Search’ placeholder text to ‘Find Event’.”Christopher
ParticipantCasey, you guys at Tribe are awesome. There are other companies offering (and charging more for….) plugs who’s support really sucks.
It is quite late here now, so I am not even going to open that link, but I will have a look at it tomorrow!
Thank you for clearing up the filter vs search bar too!
I am going to leave this unanswered until tomorrow, so I can have a look at the other tutorial and put my feedback here for others who may have the same request!Christopher
ParticipantHere is a pic of what it looks like at the moment 🙂

ParticipantHi Casey,
Thanks man, I appreciate it 🙂
Sorry for not explaining myself well. Let me try with some more detail!
I am referring to the ‘tribe-bar-filters’ area.
At the moment, in the ‘list view’, I have:
1) Events From
2) Search
3) Near
What I am wanting to do is add an additional “4)” to list Provinces (reffered to as States above). It would also be awesome if you could show me how to change the actual words used in the ‘tribe-bar-filters’ area because, while I can sort out the CSS, I can’t for the life of me figure out a function to do that.
I think that hardcoding these 2 options into the Cal Pro back-end would go a long way to making this plugin even more awesomely awesome!Giving your users the power to customise the ‘titles’ and ‘fields’ within the searchbar ie in my example, I would like to change:
“EVENTS FROM; Date” “SEARCH; search” “NEAR; Location”
TO
“EVENTS FROM; Date” “SEARCH; search” “Province; Select” “NEAR; Location”
Then a bonus would be some examples of a function(s) to change those default values eg “SEARCH; search” to “SEARCH; Find Event”.Thanks again man!!

ParticipantBump-ity bump xD
Christopher
ParticipantThanks Casey,
I have done so!
June 17, 2014 at 4:22 am in reply to: Add iCal Import Listed Events to top of list/month/week/etc. views #231091Christopher
ParticipantHi guys,
I am also trying to move the “+ iCal Import Listed Events” button to above the event view option: month, week, day, etc as apposed to just the bottom (think this would be a really cool option rather than a hack). Adding the snippet above into my functions file didn’t do the trick 🙁Christopher
ParticipantThanks Barry!
That does make (sort of – will require some googling to understand where to put that code / what to do with it haha) sense.
Can you explain to me how the attendee ID is generated and where it is stored in the DB? Is the attendee ID unique to that specific ticket / event? Because ideally, my users will be coming back time and time again to attend different events (ie buy different ticket).March 13, 2014 at 10:26 pm in reply to: Events Calendar Pro + Filter Bar + WooTickets + Gravity forms #118576Christopher
ParticipantI really don’t mind if you guys answer here.. he has exactly the same issue as I do.
Common guys – this’ such an obvious addition to the plug-in I am honestly surprised it wasn’t in the first version?March 8, 2014 at 8:45 am in reply to: Events Calendar Pro + Filter Bar + WooTickets + Gravity forms #116505Christopher
ParticipantHi Barry,
Thanks for the reply 🙂
While I understand that you can’t help me with the 3rd party things – is it possible to achieve this without them, using just the Cal Pro + WooComm Tickets?
It seems like a no-brainer-option to be able to have specific details captured rather than just a ‘ticket’ option?Christopher
ParticipantHey there Philipp. There isn’t really a settings area – it is added to the area where you create your event. Just carry on scrolling ‘down’.
Here’s the guide: tri.be/support/documentation/wootickets-new-user-primer/Christopher
ParticipantI reread my post and though perhaps a practical example would help:
A voucher to have a car valet:
I need to sell a ticket to get a car washed and need to know: registration number; collection time; convertible vs sedan; etcChristopher
ParticipantThanks (again!) Barry. I will have a read through there and post my findings / resolution so that someone else can benifit from them if they come across this thread.
Christopher
ParticipantThat is odd!
Perhaps a list of plugins you’re running at the moment might help?
My guess off the cuff would be that there’s either a CSS/styling issue OR a plugin clash? -
