    Hi guys,
I’ve bought and installed your plugins: Events Calendar Pro; Filter Bar + WooTickets. All working quite nicely.

I want to sell tickets to events listed in the calander – that’s working just fine.
However, now I need to capture details which are event specific in the ‘entry’ (or WooCommerce Tickets) process. For example T-shirt size; are you a club member?; etc.
I have Gravity Forms and Gravity Forms add-on to do this, but I’d like to know if it’s possible to do this within the WooCommerce Tickets process, via gravity forms?

    Hi Christopher – great question.

I would definitely imagine it to be possible and probably it is not a huge lift in the scheme of things, either – but with that said it is definitely beyond what we can help with here, unless you have much more specific questions pertaining to obtaining event or ticketing data or anything of that order.

    Let us know!

    Hi Barry,
    Thanks for the reply 🙂
While I understand that you can’t help me with the 3rd party things – is it possible to achieve this without them, using just the Cal Pro + WooComm Tickets?
It seems like a no-brainer-option to be able to have specific details captured rather than just a ‘ticket’ option?

    Hi Christopher,

    Unfortunately we cannot.

We’re certainly open to exploring new developments along these lines, so posting either a new request or adding your support to a suitable existing request over on UserVoice (I think there may be one or two) is the best way to go here if you want to see a change in how we do things with WooCommerce Tickets going forward.

If you need a solution in the short term though it’s very much something you’d need to drive forward as a customization, whether building from scratch using just The Events Calendar, WooCommerce Tickets and WooCommerce or by also pulling in another suitable plugin.

Sorry we can’t offer more on this occasion.

I think I just posted a similar question. I really need to capture additional information from the participants for each specific event. For instance, as we travel by train and bus during daytrips, I would need to know where they will board. Or I need to ask participants whether they would like to join for lunch or dinner, or would like to take a guided tour. These are all options that are on top of the actual ticket. I used to work fine with the WC Add-ons plugin, as these extra questions (wiht or with additional fees as answer options) would just be put right on the product page. But with WCtickes there is basically no product page anymore as it is fully integrated in the event pages themselves.

I’m a bit in the dark on what to do now… Is there anyway to go from the event page not to the checkout but to a product page? (so one extra step in between).

    Any help is much appreciated.

I really don’t mind if you guys answer here.. he has exactly the same issue as I do.
Common guys – this’ such an obvious addition to the plug-in I am honestly surprised it wasn’t in the first version?

The plugin was intended to be a simple and robust ticketing solution from the offset and given that I disagree that this is an “obvious addition” – it’s something that would add complexity and neither is it something all of our users would need.

With that in mind I’m not sure what else to tell you or what sort of further answer you are expecting – at this time you can post a feature request and/or you can roll your own solution to the problem … I’d certainly encourage you to post a request though (or add your support to any suitable existing requests) as we’re more than happy to consider new ideas, especially if they attract a lot of votes from other users and are therefore clearly in demand.

At this point there’s really not much more to say, so I’ll go ahead and close the thread. That said, if we can help with anything else (for instance if you have specific questions about making the WooCommerce product page available for tickets, xrossglobalgroup) please do create new threads as needed and one of the team will be only too happy to help.

    Thanks!
