Casper BlackwellParticipant
Perfect Victor! That did the trick 🙂
Ok to close.
Cheers,
CasperCasper BlackwellParticipantHowdy,
I have “Show only the first instance of each recurring event” checked, which is working with the List view; the client was wanting the recurring classes hidden after the first class starts in the calendar view as well.
Thanks in advance,
CasperCasper BlackwellParticipantPerfect, thanks for all of your help Patricia:)
Casper BlackwellParticipantThanks for looking into this Patricia.
It seems if I re-add the events, the new classes display correctly; no oddities in the recurring listings.
Is it safe to delete an event that has tickets sold for it and re-add the event without effecting the current sales?
Cheers,
CasperCasper BlackwellParticipantHi Patricia,
New single-event.php uploaded and I’m still getting today’s date listed on most recurring events, see screen capture attached.
Please advise.
Thanks in advance,
CasperCasper BlackwellParticipantHi Patricia,
If you look at these events you’ll see that the current date and time is being show for some reason in addition the events dates:

https://insightshopva.com/class/mindfulness-based-stress-reduction/2017-09-18/Other events are displaying fine though (no current date and time showing):

https://insightshopva.com/class/knitting-for-the-advanced-beginner/2017-08-15/I’m not sure what is causing this issue.
Please advise.
Thanks in advance,

Casper BlackwellParticipantI spoke to soon regrading the above.
I have an issue with a handful of recurring events, not sure what the issue is.The current date and time is being displayed for some reason:

Thanks in advance,
CasperCasper BlackwellParticipantHi Patrica,
Seems it was working once I moved the file to the right folder.
I didn’t notice the change until now, as it was at the very bottom of the page.
Good to close.
Thanks for your help 🙂
Cheers,
CasperCasper BlackwellParticipantHi Patrica,
I’ve moved the file to /wp-content/themes/jupiter-child/tribe-events/single-event.php
I’m still not seeing any changes.
I’ve put a copy of the modified single-event.php file in dropbox. Could you have a quick look to ensure it’s correct, or I can grant FTP access.

Please advise.
Thanks in advance,
CasperCasper BlackwellParticipantHi Patricia,
I think I’m missing something.
I was following this: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
– In the child theme I’ve made a folder “tribe-events”
– Inside of that folder I’ve made a folder “pro”
– I’ve placed a copy of the single-event.php (from the-events-calendar > src > views) in to the “pro” folder inside the child theme.
– I added the php code from here (https://gist.github.com/anonymous/0f5c54d6b3483b6a9bad46e80bc5783b) into the bottom of the file
I don’t see any changes.
Please advise.

Casper BlackwellParticipantHowdy,
In talking with my client since I posted the above, she would like the first and last dates shown instead of the default “see all” text on the individual view for recurring events, if that is possible. “July 5 – August 2nd.” for example on this event: https://insightshopva.com/event/restart/2017-07-05/
If that’s not possible, list all the dates in the series as per above.
Please advise.
Thanks in advance,

I noticed no difference after deactivating the plugins and switching the theme.
When I hit the link for “next events” sometime the page will go up slightly, like one event up from the bottom of the page, but never to the top of the page. I’m using a mac, but get the same results on my iPhone and iPad (with or without plugins active and with current theme or 2017 theme).
Please advise.
Casper BlackwellParticipantPerfect, thanks Courtney. 🙂
Casper BlackwellParticipantissue resloved with this CSS:
.tribe-events-style-full .woocommerce .quantity input {
width: 36px;
color: #000;
}Cheers,
