Installing the “Translation management” plugin didn’t help. The translation checkboxes are still disabled.

When there’s no other way than modifying the files in /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/Tribe/Integrations/WPML, then why does it work on an identical website out of the box and without any problems?
