    Hi Andras,

Not entirely sure what you are asking, but after the recent maintenance release (https://theeventscalendar.com/maintenance-release-week-2-october-2017/), the “when” in import history on all the scheduled imports was updated to now (leading me to think that they attempted to run?), but mostly all still stuck on “import pending”.

    From the event log:

"2017-10-06 20:30:28","No Records over retention limit, skipped pruning expired",debug,"EA Cron"
"2017-10-06 20:30:28","No Records Pending, skipped Fetching from service",debug,"EA Cron"
    "2017-10-06 20:30:28","Filtering records happening after 2017-10-07 02:00:00",debug,"EA Records"
    "2017-10-06 20:30:28","Record (14429) skipped, not scheduled time",debug,"EA Cron"
    "2017-10-06 20:30:28","Record (9113) skipped, not scheduled time",debug,"EA Cron"
    "2017-10-06 20:30:28","Record (856) skipped, not scheduled time",debug,"EA Cron"
    "2017-10-06 20:30:28","Record (13611) skipped, not scheduled time",debug,"EA Cron"
    "2017-10-06 20:30:28","Record (7510) skipped, not scheduled time",debug,"EA Cron"
    "2017-10-06 20:30:28","Record (7516) skipped, not scheduled time",debug,"EA Cron"
    "2017-10-06 20:30:28","Record (8027) skipped, not scheduled time",debug,"EA Cron"
    "2017-10-06 20:30:28","Record (5637) skipped, not scheduled time",debug,"EA Cron"
    "2017-10-06 20:30:28","Record (13607) skipped, not scheduled time",debug,"EA Cron"

Plus hundreds more of the “Record (###) skipped, not scheduled time” lines. Does this mean that they are pending until the day of the week that they’ve been scheduled for?

Is there a way to force all scheduled imports to run NOW? Because so many imports have failed over the past month it would be great not to wait another week to see if they run when scheduled. Please let me know.

    Thanks,
    Logan

    Hi Andras,

Thanks for the prompt responses and getting this on the recommendation list.

We are going to work around the limitation for now by using some broader categories but long term this feature would be really great as our site is moving towards 200 aggregator sources and thousands of upcoming events and more nuanced filtering will benefit our users.

Side note that the fixes that came in today’s Aggregator update are much appreciated. Hats off to the team.

    Best,
    Logan

Also just wanted to add that we were under the impression that this was how the product worked based on the plural language on this page: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/event-aggregator/

Event Aggregator keeps you in the control seat, giving you the ability to add categories, preview your imports, and maintain full publishing control.

Categorize Imports: Assign Event Categories to imported events globally or more specifically.
