ParticipantHello
29 of our 33 pages of scheduled imports have halted. They are all displaying the yellow clock icon with “Import Pending” on hover in the History tab. Some as far back as September 7, most dated September 13 or September 20.
Is there a way to force all to restart their import? Please advise.
Thanks,

KeymasterHello Logan,
Thanks for reaching out and I’m sorry about that issue with the imports.
Have those imports completed recently? Or also the new tries have resulted in “Import Pending” as well?
Meanwhile you I get the answers I will also check with one of the devs to see if there is anything to be concerned about.
Cheers,

ParticipantHi Andras,
Not entirely sure what you are asking, but after the recent maintenance release (https://theeventscalendar.com/maintenance-release-week-2-october-2017/), the “when” in import history on all the scheduled imports was updated to now (leading me to think that they attempted to run?), but mostly all still stuck on “import pending”.
From the event log:
"2017-10-06 20:30:28","No Records over retention limit, skipped pruning expired",debug,"EA Cron" "2017-10-06 20:30:28","No Records Pending, skipped Fetching from service",debug,"EA Cron" "2017-10-06 20:30:28","Filtering records happening after 2017-10-07 02:00:00",debug,"EA Records" "2017-10-06 20:30:28","Record (14429) skipped, not scheduled time",debug,"EA Cron" "2017-10-06 20:30:28","Record (9113) skipped, not scheduled time",debug,"EA Cron" "2017-10-06 20:30:28","Record (856) skipped, not scheduled time",debug,"EA Cron" "2017-10-06 20:30:28","Record (13611) skipped, not scheduled time",debug,"EA Cron" "2017-10-06 20:30:28","Record (7510) skipped, not scheduled time",debug,"EA Cron" "2017-10-06 20:30:28","Record (7516) skipped, not scheduled time",debug,"EA Cron" "2017-10-06 20:30:28","Record (8027) skipped, not scheduled time",debug,"EA Cron" "2017-10-06 20:30:28","Record (5637) skipped, not scheduled time",debug,"EA Cron" "2017-10-06 20:30:28","Record (13607) skipped, not scheduled time",debug,"EA Cron"Plus hundreds more of the “Record (###) skipped, not scheduled time” lines. Does this mean that they are pending until the day of the week that they’ve been scheduled for?
Is there a way to force all scheduled imports to run NOW? Because so many imports have failed over the past month it would be great not to wait another week to see if they run when scheduled. Please let me know.
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Logan,
I will need to check with a developer what those messages exactly mean.
Meanwhile the thought I have:
the “when” in import history on all the scheduled imports was updated to now (leading me to think that they attempted to run?), but mostly all still stuck on “import pending”.
If indeed they all tried to be run then that can have 2 implications:
- too many requests went out and your server might not have been able to handle all the response
- you reached your daily limit of imports after a while, and some imports didn’t run
Is there a way to force all scheduled imports to run NOW?
Surely not a “bulk” way, and that would also mean the above 2 points.
You can run the scheduled imports manually if you go to the ‘Scheduled Imports’ page and click on ‘Run now’ below the import name. I would recommend going slowly on this not to overload your server.
I’ll get back to you soon.
