BørgeParticipant
Hello,
Thank you for your reply.
The code is present in my style.css file now, but still no changes.
There is no other code in my style.css, it only has this code and no other things:
@media screen and (max-width: 768px) {
.tribe-bar-filters {
display: none;
}I tried the effect on my browser and also on my Iphone 7, no changes.
Please advice 🙂
Also when we can resolve this, i would like to hide the other top menu also on mobile.
BørgeParticipantHi and tnx for the reply!
I tried the code:
@media screen and (max-width: 768px) {
.tribe-bar-filters {
display: none;
}
}It did not remove the search bar on mobile. Tried to add it to to style.css and also to add it ass aditional css. None of them did work.
BørgeParticipantThank you!
BørgeParticipantthat fixed that problem, great.
Now only a few other things and then I am all good.
1.I just purchased the Community Events plugin. I am unable to change the text of the submit new entry button. Text looks ok, but the button is to small for the text – so I would like to change the text.
See attached image. Cant find that entry any place. Where can I change that?
2. On the Event Calender page I cant translate a few strings, see attached foto. Do I need a new updated file for the the-events-calendar-nb_NO also? Or will I be able to translate this somewhere else?
BørgeParticipantHello and thank you for your reply.
My problem is that these strings are missing in poedit.
Attached you will find a example.
I am trying to translate the string: “Schedule multiple events”.
This string is not found in poedit (file: tribe-events-calendar-pro-nb_NO.po). I only found this string from a external searching tool.
Ho to add these missing strings?
BørgeParticipantAnd I have also tried to edit files in this location:
/public_html/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/langAttached files.
BørgeParticipantThank you assisting me!
Attacked you will find the language files that are on this location:
/public_html/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/langCould it be that this is the wrong location or some other trouble since I also have the event-calender-pro folder?
BørgeParticipantHello,
I am using Loco translate, this is a WP plugin that works great to translate from WP Admin.
But for some reason I am not able to translate these strings:
I have tried with poedit also, to download the language file from wordpress, but it did not help.
Could you please take a look at my intallation to see what I have to do to change these strings?
This is the only thing left before I can lunch this site.
Kind regards,

BørgeParticipantThank you for your reply!
My wordpress settings is Norsk Bokmål, and it need to be nb_NO since other plugins is translated to that form of “norsk”.
I could easily translate all strings manually if I could get the .POT file and information about where I should place the translated files in my installation. Do I have to disable wordpress auto translation then, so it will not override my manual translation?
Kreg,
BørgeBørgeParticipantThank you for your reply.
I have checked the translated version on wordpress.org, some of the words I need to translate is already translated in wordpress.org, but the effect is not on my site.
for example:

http://prntscr.com/eckfe8Any idea how to fix this?
