ParticipantAnd that solved the issue completely! Thanks!
I imagine if the newest version of Events Calendar fixes this when its released, this code can be then removed.
But thanks in the meantime!

ParticipantPerhaps this is part of the solution…
which functions.php file should it go into? The functions.php that appears in the wp-includes folder? or the functions.php file specific to the theme folder I’m using?

ParticipantHi Kelly!
Yeah, I tried it both with and without the php tag. Either way I had the same issue :/

ParticipantHi Kelly!
Thanks for the code fix. Unfortunately when I put it in the functions.php file, I get the white screen of death anywhere on my admin pages 🙁
So that’s a no-go for now for me. I don’t know if other people experience the same thing on their sites or not. But I am also a patient person and will be content with waiting for an official plugin update if need be 🙂
Either way, just thought I’d let you know.
Thanks,
Brad

ParticipantThanks for this Kelly.
However, where should this temporary fix code be placed? The style sheet? Somewhere in the body of the events calendar plugin?
Let me know and thanks!

ParticipantCan do! But can you just let us know where we should physically upload copies of our themes? Is there a form on this website’s forum or something?
Thanks,
Brad

ParticipantMy hosting is Bluehost
I have the normal Web Hosting rate at about $5 a month as well as Domain Privacy Protection, Domain Name Registration, and Site BackUp Pro
And let me tell you, that hosting company runs my site MUCH slower than I would like it to

ParticipantI don’t see a selection for “heading,” but I do a selection for “title.” All that is in that box is “Brad Baron.”
Tagline is “Bass-Baritone – Actor – Playwright”

ParticipantMy site’s URL is http://www.brad-baron.com
From there, the window heading “Upcoming Events << Brad Baron" remains the same on any page of the whole website.I use WP Super Cache, and delete those caches frequently.
Thanks,
Brad

ParticipantHey Barry!
Did what you said, and the following error message came up in place of the blank page. Just to preface. I took a while to do this simply because I wanted to edit something else on my website first. After that, I did the following. First activated the Justified Image Grid plugin. That plugin activated fine and nothing crashed. Smooth sailing. I activated The Events Calendar after that, and got the blank screen. Changed the debug status to True and got the following message:
” Notice: wp_register_script was called incorrectly. Scripts and styles should not be registered or enqueued until the wp_enqueue_scripts, admin_enqueue_scripts, or init hooks. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 3.3.) in /home3/bradbaro/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 2959
Notice: Use of undefined constant E_DEPRECATED – assumed ‘E_DEPRECATED’ in /home3/bradbaro/public_html/wp-content/plugins/youtube-channel/youtube-channel.php on line 10 ”
What that all means, I have no idea! 🙂
I think I’m done editing for the night, so I’ll leave both the plugins in question activated and installed for now. But I changing the debug status back to false just in case.
Let me know your thoughts and thanks!
-Brad
