Michael StenitzerParticipanthi nico,
unfortunately the problem still exists. we tried resaving permalinks, changing permalinks, re-saving events, clearing caches …
the language switcher link shows the currect path to the event in the different language, but the language prefix (folder) is that of the current page.
on DE the linkt to EN is /de/ and should be /en/
on EN its vice versa.cheers, michael

Michael StenitzerParticipantlang.php for our staging system (obviously different at other servers):
<?php header( 'Location: https://azw.test.wienfluss.net/de/' ) ; ?>
and, yes, we do need the language folder also for the default language. and it worked well until we upgraded the tribe events just before we went online with the site. it still works well for everything except the event series.
cheers, michael

Michael StenitzerParticipanthi andras,
our canonical language is german. english are the translations.
the problem only appears when translating a recurring event (single events are ok). i’m not sure about your test.we never use the (+) button for translations in the events listing but always initiate a translation from the event’s edit interface itself by hitting the (duplicate) button. we where told to do it in exactly this way (otherwise it broke the database).
cheers, michael
Michael StenitzerParticipanthi andras,
thank you for your response. unfortunately this does not help. neither with existing series nor with newly created ones.
maybe it helps if you take a look at the two screenshots of the german (canonical) and english (translated) version of a event series.
* DE https://www.dropbox.com/s/rjhigx0u2q94fo5/Screenshot%202017-10-30%2012.13.19.png?dl=0
* EN https://www.dropbox.com/s/frwyuil70y2amun/Screenshot%202017-10-30%2012.13.01.png?dl=0let me know if you need further information.
there is also a staging server where we could grant you access if it helps.cheers, michael
Michael StenitzerParticipantthanks andras,
we have downgraded to the named versions.
unfortunately this did not fix the problem. neither with existing series, nor with a newly created one.cheers, michael

thank you for your reply.
we knew about the option mentioned, but it is not as smoothly as expected.
regarding the update of the plugin: we are not yet in production and will do the updates right before we launch.best, michael
August 11, 2017 at 4:01 am in reply to: adding an single event to an already translated series #1333961Michael StenitzerParticipantgeoff,
thanks, this seeems to work for me.
several notes:
1. a good documentation for using tribe events with wpml would be great.
2. the email replies from the support forum are confusing, as the skip certain parts of the answer, eg images. this confused me a lot – because initially i did not open the webview
3. the webview of the forum previews the screenshots only partially. unless you open the screenshot in the lightbox you might miss the clue (see second screenshot above)best, michael
