    Hi Geoff,

    here is mystatus:
    – my theme provider has not jet answered – I will report to you asap

    – problem with “folder” ist solved > both links “events” and “Veranstaltungen” now point to the same place

    – 404 message: I have done as is described in https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/fixing-http-404-errors/ and have inserted the code to function.php > both codes resulted in my site is not even starting at all > so I will open a new thread with this point

    – INFO: I have deactivated all plugins except TEC to see if there is any effect > no change to the tab-title – problem. However, when I do not use the little calendar widget anymore, all tab-titles are displayed in a correct manner – so may be there are some jet unknown conflicts with my theme. So I have decided to leave this widget out and move the event information to another position.

    Best regards
    Alexander

    Hi Geoff,

I tried with Twenty Seventeen and it worked without this observation as I find in my default theme. So I will contact the theme supplier Yootheme for further clarification.
However there are other observations, which disturbs me:

    1. TEC is obviously using two different folders, namely “events” and “veranstaltungen (german)”. So if I click “Veranstaltungen” in my menue, the correct page will be displayed. If I click one event, which is in my sidebar, a different page is displayed. How can I direct the “sidebar-click” to my main page “Veranstaltungen”

    2. I have one monthly recurring event. If see for instance one event and I click the option “see all”, I am getting a 404 message.

I hope, I could make myself understood? Sorry for my bad english.

    Thanks & regards
    Alexander

    Hi Goeff,

I am not sure I understood your answer. If I run on The Event Calendar PRO, the tag title is the same no matter, which site is shown. It always shows “Upcomming Events”. When I deactivate the plugin, the normal site name shows up, as it is normally expected. I don’t want to change the tab title for every event, I only want the normal site name being displayed.

I read the code from http://pastebin.com/QU2aMwBJ in such a way, that I can assign individual names to every event page.

    Thanks for comments
    Regards
    Alexander
