ParticipantHi Jeremy
Thanks for your response. I was forced to restore the site to multiuser version again, since so many functions were broken, and we needed the site to work. I’m on vacation now but will possibly try some of these suggestions in the future. Thank you for your response.August 16, 2018 at 11:06 am in reply to: Transparent gray screen over events calendar page when trying to register #1599250Lisa

ParticipantHi Geoff,
Thank you for your reply. I had updated the PHP version to 5.6 then to 7+ yesterday and this did not help. I am still getting an error.
We may be technically “multi-site” because we had set up a testing server before we went live, but this testing server is not being used. I am not sure why it’s an issue with updates now, since we’ve had these plug-ins for a few years? We are a non-profit public library with one website: http://www.hchlibrary.org
As I look at the instructions to update manually, I have to delete all files and data? This makes me extremely uncomfortable with our live site, even if I have a backup in place.
Is there another workaround for this? Thank you.

ParticipantThank you – this worked great for viewing the events columns correctly. Any ideas on why I can’t update the two plug-ins?
Thank you.

ParticipantHi Victor
This time I copied and pasted the code into line 137 and it worked, instead of commenting out the line with /**. I am not a coder! Thank you so much for your help.

ParticipantHi Victor,
I’ve followed your instructions and edited the tpp.php folder in my Avada Theme in the new folder. I commented out line 137 with no results. I kept on commenting out lines 128 – 139 and still no luck. the message is still there. What should I do next? Did I edit the incorrect file? Thank you in advance for your assistance.

ParticipantIs there a way to remove that text completely? We think it’s confusing.
Thank you!
