Excellent. Thanks!!
Just curious, do some themes provide settings for this?LaVonne EwingParticipantThis worked great! Now I can enable the LIST view, and the Organizer pages look good with featured events.
Last request for this ticket: Do you also have a snippet that will make the date/time bold, in the featured events (list view)? Then it will match the non-featured events.
Thanks!!
LaVonne EwingParticipantThat fixed the background color. (In my Avada theme, I added that code to the Custom CSS under Theme Options, and had to include: background-color: #ffffff !important;)
But it leaves the event title font as black (instead of white) and the price background as purple (instead of the gold color).
Is there an easy way to disable/change these color attributes of Feature Events in the List view? The Avada theme does not have controls for this.
Thank you!January 16, 2018 at 12:54 pm in reply to: installed your updates and now calendar not found (404 error) #1427964LaVonne EwingParticipantI restored an older database and did all plugin updates without trouble, including yours. So I think it is the Avada theme update, which I’ve not tried yet.

I updated the Avada theme a couple days ago, but I thought everything was good after that.

FYI: I put it in my Avada Theme Options, under Custom CSS (since this is where a few other customizations have been added).December 4, 2017 at 12:07 pm in reply to: shortcomings with "Hide Others’ Organizers and Venues in Community Events" #1398036LaVonne EwingParticipantExcellent. I added this author selector code to my Avada Child Theme. This will be so helpful!! Many thanks.
I will talk to Avada about my styling question.December 1, 2017 at 8:39 am in reply to: shortcomings with "Hide Others’ Organizers and Venues in Community Events" #1396708LaVonne EwingParticipantYou say: You should also assign the venue and organizer to the user in order for them to be able to see/edit.
Where do I do this? Not seeing that option when I “Edit Venue” from WP admin.
As for the styling issue, this is a live site so I’m not switching themes, and the plugin “WP Staging” does not yet work with the latest WP version.
November 30, 2017 at 12:37 pm in reply to: shortcomings with "Hide Others’ Organizers and Venues in Community Events" #1396068LaVonne EwingParticipantYour fix appears to work for new event listings. Thank you!
BUT if I create an event in the WordPress back end, and assign “The Author” to the correct user, the Venue and Organizer do not appear when that user logs in to edit the event. Is there any way to fix this? We need an efficient way for us “admins” to create events, but users need to edit all event details, including their specific organizer and venue records.
Related issue: When editing an organizer (or venue), the styling is weird. Maybe this is a problem with my Avada theme? screenshot below
November 16, 2017 at 1:35 pm in reply to: How to change the "ADD NEW" link on My Events page? #1385091LaVonne EwingParticipantThat worked! Thank you.
How do I access the following:
1. After an event has been submitted, I see another link that says “Submit another event”. This, too, needs to be redirected.
2. ADD NEW EVENT form: I need to add words below the SUBMIT WORKSHOP button to explain the cost for submission, approval time, etc.
LaVonne EwingParticipantThat worked. Thanks!
LaVonne EwingParticipantYour 2nd option worked for the “ADD” page, so half of my original question has been solved.
I also need to remove the post page title from the …/community/list page (“MY EVENTS”).
Unrelated question: I changed the wording of EVENTS to WORKSHOPS in EventsPro, but this Community LIST page and the ADD page still says MY EVENTS or ADD NEW EVENT. Where is this controlled? I need it changed to WORKSHOPS.
LaVonne EwingParticipantvery small screen shots are attached (one showing the correct page title
on the BLOG section, 2nd image showing the LIST page of events where I
do not want this page title).link to submission form:
LaVonne EwingParticipantYea!! It worked. Thanks for your patience with me. I’m new to this WordPress stuff.
LaVonne EwingParticipantShould I have copied all files from the main Avada theme? I only copied the one file you mentioned.
