Wrong event shown in month view

I have a strange thing in my calendar, on 11 till 14 may there’s the event “2nd European Climate Change Adaptation Conference (ECCA-2)” but in the month view is shown the “Strategic Advisory Board”. When you you refresh the page the
the correct event is shown but when you click on it you go to the “Strategic Advisory Board” event.

I have tried several things delete the event and add it again, change the publisch date (the result is an other event is displayed.)

Hope you can help me out.

Do you have any shortcodes in the content of either event that you mention? And if so does removing them fix the issue?

Hi Brian,

I have read the first chapter test if there is a conflict.

This website is build for a project in the european union and I can’t go to a different theme and switch of all plugins etc. Besides that all other events work good except for 1 is displayed the wrong event

No other way to look into this??

You can try deleting the event and starting again with it, maybe it was just a glitch when saving.

Otherwise the testing for conflict steps are all we have to narrow down the issue.

If you cannot do it on a live site then I would recommended setting up staging site to do the tests on.

I did that no result.

I think its strange that in list it shows correct and in month view not…when i change the publish date it shows a different event (in month view) not “Strategic Advisory Board” but “SEiSMiC International Forum: ‘New Urban Governance”

I have delete this event and published again no result.

Any ideas?

I would look at all the events with the one having the issue and checked for anything that is not images or plain text in the editor and if removing it resolves the issue.

I would also look into the theme for any coding that might be causing conflicts.

However, that is made much harder by not being able to disable plugins or change themes.

If you cannot change a live site the other alternative is to have a staging site to run all the tests on too.
