ParticipantWe’ve noticed that certain events in the month view get placed in a wrong order. There is one event, beginning 18:00, which is placed before all events in the morning on the same day (see screenshot 1).
Looking at the same day in the week or day view shows the events in correct order, placing the the evening event where it should be.
You can see the problem live, when you open following link. Take a look at 5th of May in the month view. Hover the first event.
http://ballsaal.be/stundenplan/monat/?tribe-bar-date=2016-05-03Then check the day view, where it’s correct.
http://ballsaal.be/stundenplan/2016-05-03/How can we fix this?

MemberHi. Sorry you’re experiencing this.
I see you’re on the latest versions of WP and our plugins.
Therefore, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

ParticipantI think the problem clearly points out, that It can’t be a conflict with the theme or other plugins. It’s not an error, it’s wrong ordering of data.
Anyway, I did the described test steps and the problem did also exist with all other plugins deactivated and the Twenty Fifteen Theme (Sixteen isn’t installed).
IMHO it could be a wrong configuration but I couldn’t find anything that looks like it could be the source of the problem.
I’m also willing to give you login data to look at it yourself.

MemberThank you for your diligence in tracking down the cause of this issue. I understand it can sometimes be time consuming and/or frustrating.
I understand http://ballsaal.be/stunde/zeitgenoessisch-mittelstufe/2016-05-03/ is the event out of order on May 3, and I see that it is a recurring event (not that that should affect its ordering).
Could you please specify if any of the events that appear out of order are setup as “sticky in month view“?
On my local testing site, sticky in month view was the only way I got an event (even a recurring event) to appear out of order based on the start time.

ParticipantThank you for that Cliff. This is it.
I didn’t know about this option and when I look at it in the german translation, I guess it isn’t obvious what it does, that’s why they checked this box. Seems they didn’t look at the additional description in the info box, which explains it very well.

MemberPhew! Glad we figured that one out instead of it being a bug 🙂
