GuestWe have a website dealing in touris and we would like to give opportunities to different facilities to add directly their events.
We need:
* firstly user has to pay a fee to be able to add his/her event
* possibility to manage the event before its publication (I see it’s already considered)
* possibility for users to create also eventbrite ticketsIMPORTANT – is your plugin compatible with WPML?
Many thanks

GuestMy Question is kind of simular:
We want to offer different accounts to our users for different fees, allowing them to post events, with or without pictures and/or newsletter entry, depending on there membership, free, plus or premium. We need an aprooved solution to integrate with events calender community plugin – sell different memberships and abonnements with different durations etc. to manage the users capabilities/rights automatically. What would you advise us to install, is there an in-house solution by modern tribe for this, or something you have tested?
Cheers

MemberGood evening Maria and Nils and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.* firstly user has to pay a fee to be able to add his/her event
This could be accomplished with a bit of customization. You will probably want to sell something like a WooCommerce subscription or WooCommerce Membership and tie that to a specific user role.
Once that is done, you can use our Community Events plugin and make sure only users of certain roles are allowed to use it:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/admin-roles-and-permissions/
The only downfall is that at the time of writing Community Events is not compatible out of the box with WPML.
But the good news are that:
- It is part of our long-term road map. You can vote for that here: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/10048827-community-events-wpml-support
- Some of our customers have achieved satisfactory compatibility with a few tweaks here and there: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/automatically-duplicating-added-event-calandar-items-on-publish-with-wpml/
* possibility to manage the event before its publication (I see it’s already considered)
Absolutely, that is already part of the features.
* possibility for users to create also eventbrite tickets
We do have a plugin for this: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-eventbrite-tickets/
However, this plugin is not yet WPML compatible. At least not out of the box.
But here again, I am pretty sure there are people out there who have achieved this.
IMPORTANT – is your plugin compatible with WPML?
We offer compatibility with WPML for some of our plugins and we are absolutely aiming to make all of our plugins compatible over time.: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/wpml-support/
Have a good weekend,
Geoff B.
