ParticipantI have a problem in which non-admin WordPress users can’t make posts when I enable The Events Calendar Pro 3.9.2. Everything seems to work OK with just The Events Calendar 3.9.1 enabled (without Pro).
When Pro is enabled, “Standard Users” get a blank white screen when trying to make a post. The admin users are able to post but we can’t get the media library to load. It just shows an empty window with a loading symbol.
This is occurring on my production site but not on my development site running the same themes and plugins. I think it may have something to do with the permissions on the server hosting the live site.
I was wondering if I could get a link to download version 3.9.1 of The Event Calendar Pro and see if I have better luck with that one.
Also, I’m running WordPress version 4.1.1, which is not explicitly supported by your plugin. Do you think there could be a compatibility problem?
Please help me try to narrow this down so my hosting team can start looking into this. I may need to get a refund on the plugin if I can’t get it to work properly with my hosting environment.

MemberHi,
Thanks for purchasing our plugins. Sorry for the issues you are having.
The plugin is compatible with WordPress 4.1.1 even though it does not state it. All of us are running on WordPress 4.1.1
Not sure you will have better luck with 3.9.1, but in my private post I have placed a link to download.
For narrowing down the issue we have testing for conflicts guide:
I also use the Query Monitor plugin:
To help find issues as well.
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks

ParticipantI saw that The Events Calendar 3.2 is now out. I just installed that and now I get a message stating “The following plugins are out of date: Events Calendar PRO 3.9.2. All add-ons contain dependencies on The Events Calendar and will not function properly unless paired with the right version. Learn More.”
Both The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar Pro are on 3.9.2 but I get an error message showing: “The following plugins are out of date: Events Calendar PRO 3.9.2. All add-ons contain dependencies on The Events Calendar and will not function properly unless paired with the right version. Learn More.”
I then tried updating the Pro plugin to 3.9.3 and that made the error message go away but it didn’t fix my problem of having the media library not load.
Will it be OK to run The Events Calendar 3.9.2 with Pro version 3.9.3 or should they both be on the same dot release?

MemberYep running The Events Calendar 3.9.2 with Pro version 3.9.3 is fine.
The first two numbers should be the same the 3rd may not always be so.
Have you tried the testing for conflicts guide:
To see if that can help narrow down the cause of the Media Library Issue?

ParticipantI noticed that the RSS feed on the main dashboard is showing “An error has occurred, which probably means the feed is down. Try again later.”
Also, my license key area under “Settings” shows my license key but has a loading symbol below it that never finishes loading. My event add-ons are loading however.
Can you check to see if there is maybe one more IP address that we need to unblock in order to get the RSS feed on the main page to work and get that license stuff to finish loading?
This plugin works fine on my testing server and the main difference between the testing and development ones are the firewall rules. I want to get the remaining RSS content to load so we can eliminate that as a possible cause for troubleshooting purposes.
Thanks!

MemberThe news feed on the dashboard is broken and will be fixed in the 3.10 release.
However, see about whitelisting these two ip addresses:
162.243.159.176
50.116.28.27

ParticipantI found out that this problem was a conflict with a plugin called “Ninja Forms”. The problem stopped happening when I disabled that plugin.
I think there was some minor difference in the Apache and PhP version between the two servers but they were otherwise identical. Anyway, the problem seems to be solved now. Thanks for your help!
