    Hi there,

I noticed that there is a word spacing issue on my events page and single event page.

There is no spacing in the dates section: 25. Augustum19:30 – 22:00
    This should be: 25. August um 19:30 – 22:00
There is no spacing in the location/address section: Museumstrasse 10Bern,3005Schweiz
This should be: Museumstrasse 10, Bern, 3005, Schweiz
    –> see screenshot

And more or less the same issue on the single event page – title area
    –> see screenshot
    25. AUGUSTUM19:30 – 22:00

Alternatively the subtitle could be left out or hidden on the single event page, since the page name itself contains the time and date already!

I have manually changed the word spacing to 30px, just to check if that would separate the words but it doesn’t – you can see that on the screenshots.

Your assistance in this matter is highly appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Regards
    Ingo

Hi Ingo. Thanks for your detailed question.

I tried it out on my local testing site in US English language (the default for our plugins), and I didn’t see the same issue: https://cl.ly/1J3G373j410H

It could be that the language files for your chosen language were translated incorrectly.

We have this information regarding translations:

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

    Hi Cliff,

I checked the language files and couldn’t see that anything was done incorrectly. Furthermore the sections I found or let’s say assume to be related to the issue doesn’t show any effect at all after being edited.

    j. M Y @ G:i

Even though the translation also has the @ symbol, this is not showing in the front-end.

I have checked all translation files: Event Tickets, Plus, Event Calendar, Pro
Can’t seem to find the problem.

Would it help if I gave you access to my site, that someone could have a look? Really need this sorted out!

    Thanks

Does the issue still happen when you switch to using the Twenty Sixteen theme?

If yes, please tell me which language you have your site set to.

And please share your System Information.

    Thanks for those details.

On my local testing site, I switched my WordPress language to German, visited a Single Event page, and couldn’t replicate the issue when running an unmodified version of Twenty Fifteen theme with all other plugins deactivated: https://cl.ly/213S0L323v1Q

And here’s a screenshot of List View: https://cl.ly/0f0i3M1r2Z1N

FYI: I tried both Twenty Fifteen (the screenshots) and Twenty Sixteen (no screenshots) and the dates appeared the same for both List View and Single Event pages.

Therefore, I’d suggest following our recommended troubleshooting steps:

There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?

Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.

If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to TwentySixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.

If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any PHP errors you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.

Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts mode).

You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)

Let us know what you find out.

    Thanks.

Thanks for all the information and your efforts.

Your WP_DEBUG messages are from WooCommerce and your Jupiter theme. You may want to pass those along to those two’s support systems.

Since the odd display issue is only happening for the date, could you please screenshot your settings from wp-admin > Events > Settings > Display — https://cl.ly/26010m0J3a0t

    Please also screenshot your wp-admin > Settings > General — https://cl.ly/0k1z2t0R2U1b

    Hi Cliff,

My issue has now been resolved for the most part. I have added a space (with spacebar) before and after the date time separator –> see screenshot

And have added a comma after the zip code since I couldn’t find another way to get a space in there.

    That’s good enough for me.

Thanks for your help, much appreciated

    Regards
    Ingo
