Hello there, Carl! Thanks for getting in touch. ๐
The WooTickets plugin acts like a bridge between The Events Calendar and WooCommerce. It allows you to create any number of tickets for an event directly in the Events post editor, then those tickets get saved as Products in WooCommerce, which tracks sales and handles the checkout process.
You might be interested inย this tutorial, which walks through the process of creating a ticket for an event step-by-step. It’s a good place to start to see how it works.
I do want to clarify one thing: The Events Calendar PRO does not allow site visitors to add events from the front end of your site, though our Community Events plugin does. And, unfortunately, people who submit events via Community Events are unable to create tickets at the same time, even if you have both WooTickets and Community Events installed.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. ๐
Cheers!
Geoff
