ParticipantWill Events Calender Pro and Ticket work after expired license key? If I stop paying can I still use the old version?

MemberHey Richard
Yes, they will continue to work. However, you will no longer have access to updates or the support forums.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

ParticipantHi Courtney, thanks.
When I reinstall my version op Events Calender Pro 3.10 (2015) it says my license is expired. I need to buy a new license. How come?March 26, 2018 at 6:29 pm #1489144Courtney
MemberHi Richard
Our licenses are valid for one year from the time of purchase. It looks like all the licenses with this account expired 2 years ago.
Thanks

ParticipantHi Courtney,
Bet you just told me: Yes, they will continue to work. However, you will no longer have access to updates or the support forums.
Why isn’t the old version working anymore then?

MemberHi Richard
There is a chance that the old versions may have a bug in them or are conflicting with other plugins or your theme.
You could try going through our Testing for Conflicts Guide https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/?ย I am wondering if you might have a plugin or theme conflict.ย
We recommend conducting these tests on a staging server (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/creating-using-wordpress-staging-site/).ย
If you are unable to do so, please install the Health Check plugin so that you can effectively disable all plugins without website visitors noticing any changes. See https://make.wordpress.org/support/handbook/appendix/troubleshooting-using-the-health-check/#troubleshooting for how to do this.
Begin by deactivating all other plugins, using a theme such as Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/, and see if the issue still persists.
Also, double check for any other updates available (Dashboard ยป Updates).ย
If that doesn’t resolve the issue, visit My Account ยป Downloads https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads to try downloading the plugin again and freshly installing it.
Thanks
