Widget Not Functioning

Hi, I am using a theme called Mint. I have inserted the Event Calendar Pro Widget, and notice that the widget doesn’t work. When I click either the month arrows or an event, it simply takes me back to the top of that same page where the widget is used. Nothing on the calendar changes.

It seems to work on the default wordpress theme. But, I need it to work on the theme I have chosen. Can you help me – the actual events page calendar works just fine.

The site is live, but I recreated everything from scratch on a staging area
staging2.councillordavis.com to see if I can find the issue and turn things on and off without effecting the live site for the moment.

The client is anxious to have this work. Please help.
